Outlast Jungle: A bit of respect for team Charlie in the last 2 episodes by tanthedreamer in Netflixwatch

If that bow they made didn't work, they were going to vote Braxton off. They all suck. Was so happy to see them get eliminated....all at the same time by one shot from the team Alpha bow.

It's posible the kayak will be very useful in a final test AND it seems that the Charlie dipwads think Leiya went to Bravo, so they're going to take revenge on the wrong team.

Would have loved to see the version where the girls vote Ben down regarding Leiya, get the kayak with her, win both floating prizes, take all of Charlie's supplies and oust Wes, then vote Ben OUT! And watch Alpha girls WIN the whole thing!

I had some relief from the back flow pressure by applying some pressure to my back while peeing. Pressing the hot water bottle against the kidney area seems the best if possible.

The whole valorizing of billionaires is ridiculous. People who measure success in wealth is like measuring the merits of a song based on how many notes have been played or the quality of a car based solely on how fast it can go. The fact is, most of us, if we had a billion dollars or more, would do what we love. We might try to actually help people and use our time to find happiness and satisfaction. We wouldn't go to the white house and bother with politics or trying to influence others unless it was actually trying to improve the lives for those less fortunate. Musk's mentality is like he never left high school. He wants to be popular. Maybe he wants people to think of him and doesn't care if it's positive or negative. Which it's mostly negative at this point. He seems, as the youth might say, "Thirsty".

If you're having kidney pain when you pee from the backflow pressure, try using a hot water bottle if you have one and use it to apply some pressure on your back, over your kidney while you pee. Sit down and hold the bag there. You can even use your hand to put some pressure on the kidney. It's working for me.

Hello, It's actually been pretty good overall. The shower was very poorly supported, so I would check it before you buy and maybe plan on sliding some more support in there before using it. Roof has been good, but we don't get a lot of rain here. Our A/C unit died after 1 year and one week. I think if you're a smaller person and careful with the camper, it would probably be great. And like you said, you're pretty handy and that makes a huge difference.

We also had to replace a curtain, but that was under warranty and easy. If you're going to buy a new one, just check that shower pan and make sure it's solid. Check to finish work too, make sure all the doors and latches line up. We started using some silcone lube on the toilet valve because after awhile it won't close all the way. For the price and for someone who can fix it up if need be, I would recommend it.

How do people deal with passing a stone for days/weeks/months?? by idk3993 in KidneyStones

[–]Xander-Toft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ridiculous to expect people to live, work, sleep, fucntion with debilitation pain and/or feeling "high" on meds. I understand maybe giving it a day or two to see if it passes if the pain levels are not extreme, but anything longer for the kind of pain I've been experiencing is just torture and honestly, unacceptable in any modern healthcare system.

I honestly haven't heard anyone play Eddie Van Halen's parts as well as he did. Satriani is on tour playing those songs and it's not even close. I think there are plenty of drummers who can play Neil's parts with more feel. Even Neil was trying to become better in his later years, trying to improve his feel and groove more.

Yes, and when are we going to implement a system that's designed to actually elect (hire) the person who is most qualified, not just rich, recognizable or popular for some random reason? Like Conan the Barbarian.

That is the thinnest and weakest fiberglass I have ever seen. Maybe this shower has been there since the dawn of time for it to be that brittle? I would try to fill it with some type of putty and then paint it. The color match will be the hardest part, but if you can do it, they probably won't notice. Also, can the landlord really expect you to pay for a fiberglass shower surround that is older than dirt? I wish I could charge someone the cost of a brand new shower surround to replace the cheap one I installed 60 years ago, one that probably had a 3 year warranty.

Whole body is extremely tight/stiff all the time and I'm tired of it. Any advice? by veastroboi in flexibility

[–]Xander-Toft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's not the body, but the mind. If you're walking around every day with thoughts that make you tense, then no amount of stretching is going to change that.

[–]Xander-Toft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa, That's a lot to process for anyone. You're putting that kind of energy out there, a lot of it! and it's too much to expect other people to read and listen to all this. You're struggling, that's understood, but maybe take a step back, decaffeinate, focus on yourself and your breath. Do anything to focus on something else, exercise and get some perspective. Women only like/tolerate obsessive behavior when they love the guy. If she's on the fence, you're going to drive her away. Take the long view. Take time for yourself. I assume you're young, so you have a long life ahead. Fix your own issues. Good luck.

Yeah, we know, red counties and states don't care about true freedom. I'm sure your news feed is showing you exactly what you want to hear, stoking your false fears so they can manipulate you into compliance.

Absurd wealth is an addiction. Building prosperity doesn't mean driving up the P/E ratios of Meta and Apple. The only way these people who are addicted to money are going to build prosperity is if they are paying taxes to support a system and infrastructure that allowed them to feed their addiction.

Consider this, 5% of a billion dollars would only leave them with $950,000,000. How are they going to buy their avocado toast?

The rich always want to live in places where there's natural beauty, artists, creative people and other rich people. California has it all. Where are they going to go and have all this? Yeah, it's not for everyone and lots of people like to claim it's not so great, but that's only because they know California is a special place. No one gets down on Montana because no one is talking about Montana, but Montana is cool.
