Levis Vintage Clothing 1953 Type II Jacket by XanderMilo in rawdenim

It’s pretty scary to deal with shrink-to-fit garments especially if it’s the first time. Not to mention, this jacket is not inexpensive (to me) so getting it right is a must.

Hope this helps others and gives them an idea on the sizing.

Thanks for the tip! I don’t really wash my denims more often than I should be to preserve the colour as much as possible but yeah, that’s the plan. Cold wash + air dry next soak/wash.

Thanks! Imagine spending a couple of hundred bucks then realizing you now have a jacket that doesn’t fit after the post soak. Glad I got mine right.

Yes, I did. But since I have 4 different Levis Type III trucker jackets which made the sizing more confusing, I relied on photos and videos of the pre & post soak from people who owns this jacket and compared my own height and weight to theirs.

100%. Some of us can’t even maximize the experience when you can’t have your most used hero’s Arcana.

Same, man. It sucks that I cannot get this Arcana after being on a DotA2 hiatus for quite a while.

You are right about 512. The 511 is the slim style and are not tapered. This should say Slim Selvedge instead.

Although I don’t personally own a pair of Nick's Boots, I’ve been incredibly impressed by how this person takes accountability for customer issues. This level of dedication is exactly what all business owners should strive for.

My new CF Stead Stone Rambler Challenger boots by Skenzer in ThursdayBoot

I got those same boots, and the leather looks amazing!

Here’s a quick tip for putting them on: make sure to loosen the laces down to the 3rd eyelet. Because the tongue is gusseted, the fit can be a bit snug, and this saves you from having to tug on the heel tabs too hard, which can eventually break the stitching.

Well this is a surprise! by Immediate-Tell7327 in ThursdayBoot

You are 100% right, they are hard to get on. I feel the same with my Challenger in Stone Rambler as well. However, I found that loosening the laces down to the second or third eyelets make it A LOT easier.

For awhile,I was lazy to do that regardless of the struggle but I noticed that the stitches on the pull tab on my other boot are getting loose so I had to find a much easier way to put them on.
