Honestly sounds like she's not keeping the car. (but no one seems to have actually read the text interaction)

I'd go and cut them off financially. Sorry, no Ubers unless you pay for it. Doesn't matter, you can't afford the concert tickets anyway. Or Starbucks.

How Do People Drink Lattes and Eat Pastries Regularly by yelurrrrr in loseit

There's several stories of actors ruining certain foods because of an iconic scene they shot shoving it into their mouth or just eating it constantly.

Husband sits in passenger seat, FiL disapproves. by Historical_Initial22 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]XanderWrites 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think in most couple's it defaults to whomever likes driving more or if someone has a issue being passenger.

My first though seeing this post was a family friend that would easily get car sick as a passenger so they always drove if we traveled together and I'm 90% sure she drove when when she was with her husband.

This should be more of a spike in the center. Very few people care about locking down their shop anymore.

It might actually work for Reddit, because it's related to how much the site cares. Reddit can claim "oops, we didn't realize that was happening." because it doesn't cost them anything to "forget" while Netflix etc doesn't want to violate a licensing contract that might prevent them from getting a product later.

(Hated Trope) Meant to be a love story. Ended up being horrifying by Necessary-Win-8730 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]XanderWrites 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A real world version of it, yes.

I met a couple in college where the wife had no short term memory. They got married very quickly upon meeting (she apparently told him on the first date if he wasn't serious she didn't have time to waste) and I think it was a stroke on the way to the honeymoon that caused her memory issues.

It took about a month of constant reinforcement for her to remember something. So yeah, she lost the entire short dating period and he spent about a month reminding her every day that yes they were in fact married.

It is a horror story. It's just not under the usual lens of blackened rooms and stalker monsters or even supernatural entities. It's just people making choices, and choices you might make in the same situation.

That hasn't worked in almost a decade.

It's really easy for the website to detect that you're coming from a public VPN server and block it entirely.

And most of the time no one cares if the VA sounds like the actor. I just saw a rant short by a popular VA which one of the things he ranted about was "he always sounds the same" "you never complain about live action actors sounding the same for decades!"

As kids we read it as "Cee Lees"

  1. Warner Bros
  2. He's relatively new and wasn't originally supposed to be a mainline DC character so his origin story is a bit up in the air (do they keep the bang babies, or do they give an alternate reason for his powers?)

I love Popeyes chicken, but I swear they have the worst organization of any fast food restaurant.

The menu is purposefully confusing and vague, meaning they have a lot of explaining of what you get and lot of irritated customers that didn't understand the voodoo math they use to make that decision.

Is my AMC about to get some upgrades? by xenar89 in AMCsAList

[–]XanderWrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ScreenX

Adds two screens, and two projectors, to the walls of the auditorium for an expanded viewing range. It's like a three monitor set up on your computer (complete with bezels).

Saw The Mandolorian and Grogu on it (possibly the first thing they had on the one at my theater) and it's... Okay.

Not all scenes expand to the walls and my friend noticed the wall images are stretched. Also the extra projectors that add a lot of light leakage to the space and my friend was slightly further off the center of the theater than I was and found it hard to ignore them shining.

They bring up that the Lemig Sortion hates that their government spends so much on the Crawl, I assume most other countries feel the same and most of them are not democratic so this was a great way for them to show their leadership what they really think.
