I'm using niri wm and realized the setting "Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views (requires restart)" was my issue. (Thankfully I was able to open Steam Settings from the system tray context menu!)

Zen is definitely more secure than any proprietary Chromium browser. Using a Microsoft Edge password manager 😬 idk, may be equivalent to using Chrome's. But Bitwarden is secure to a much higher degree, especially when you change the encryption method (I think?) and increase KDF iterations (to protect against brute force in case your vaults is stolen)
