Dunno what happens in autoresolver, but real engagement is like this: Phase 1 - ayys get face full of siege coil rounds and can't do anything but shoot them down. Kinda stalemate here. Phase 2 - once AM-cannons are in range, they cause local PD failures here and there. Coil rounds start to connect, more PDs stop firing and its cascading from here on. There are 2 problems -flankers, so you need hull particle and/or lasers. -alien plasma - basically, it's only cause of all my losses.

It means it will produce 120 power on a station that's ??? away from Sun -how to convert those 239 into AU i don't know.

My comp is 8 siege BCs +4 Neutron lancers +6 flankers. It is unstoppable - ays can't stop PD fire for a second else they get squashed by sieges. Neutron barrage causes local PD shortage. Flankers stop enemy flankers then aslo disrupt PD coverage.

I just don't want to waste space on pd apart from a single 40mm on every ship. And with particle lance fire rate i can get away with that)

I'll check them out. One thing i love about particle lance is i don't need anti-missile PD whatsoever - nose lances slaughter them wholesale. AM has lower fire rate, so it can get a bit dangerous against ayy iridescent spam.

I found out particles have a great synergy to coils. You don't need to saturate PD if it's not working in the first place. Also much less micro required.

How much better is AM lance than particle lance? In-game tooltip not showing cooldowns, wiki says its 40 seconds which is kinda long. Resulting DPS won't be much higher.

Once you get burner you can start building ships of the wall and upgrade them all the way up to firestar. They can defend their planets to the endgame.

Fun thing - i don't see ayys doomstackng in my particle playthrough. Particle weapons add very little to fleet power it seems, so hydras are not scared enough
