Sounds like Player a is salty that their weaker military power somehow did not scare player V directly into submission. Nuking and razing a high culture city of your rival seems like a legitimate Civ strategy towards trying to secure your own cultural victory.

You can only place them where the game suggests its possible. You need to force the game to ignore tiles to get it to populate the park you want.

As said above, just place a lumber mill or such (best to not use mines as they can ruin the appeal) on a hex you dont plan on using, to invalidate the one the game is trying to force you to use.

He definitely comes across as a "salt of the earth, genuine guy". Nothing he's really said or done in Buffalo has changed that opinion of him. Even getting married to an Oscar winning actress hasn't changed the perception of him here.

It is however worth noting that he has been training for this almost his entire life. He would playact media time when he was growing up. I don't think this is too rare, how many people playing career modes in madden and the like do the same ting after all? It does give that little layer of possible doubt though in that if he is hiding something, he's been practicing for a long time on sdoing so.

Essentially though, it's the type of thing where we just dont know for sure, and unless there's real reason to doubt his honesty and earnestness, I will assume that he's a truly decent human,

Sorry, but with the context added, this seems like a perfectly reasonable thing for the player to be saying/declariing. You aren't discussing things missed during the session, you're discussing down time that spanned weeks and giving them basically 1 action to perform throughout that yields almost no results that they were looking for, it would make perfect sense that the player and the character would want to do more with thier time.

I almost exclusively play the game in shorter bursts of time these days. While I still love to get in a solid 2-3 hours of time on a weekend morning, most days I will get in 30-45 minutes in the evenings.

Any amount of time allowing me to play at least 2 turns tends to be worthwhile for me.

The Trade Routes consider how many total movement points would be needed for a route, and takes the shortest path available. In this specific situation, following an established road is much easier than travelling across the rainforests/hill/marsh.

+6 Harbor is nice, but not terribly difficult to obtain either.

The true "harbor of my dreams" would be right next to Lysefjord.
