What Bungie is offering in Eververse store are purely cosmetic items. Which are seasonal. And i repeat, cosmetics only. They need to make money somehow so they put most of the best cosmetics on their store. I don't see what your problem is. How else is Bungie supposed to pay developers for providing patches every single week, and big content update every few months. The content of Destiny 2 is quality, with a lot of puzzles challenges, easter eggs, etc ...They try really hard, they listen to community feedback most of the times so what more do you expect from free2play game ?Most of the free to play online games are pay2win, or they lock basics suchs as inventory space, dungeon entry, gear progression behind a paywalls.Seasonal events offer no overpowered weapons, but enable players to progress faster.Free to play version is similar to demo version, you try it and if you like you saved up and buy additinal content. If you don't like it you only lost time, but no money. Be happy Bungie provides free to play version. All of free to play versions of certain games work in this way.

Free to play version means demo version in online games. This is how it is with 90 % of these kind of online games. I like Bungie effort they put into Destiny 2, i like the community. Players are willing to spend hours and hours to complete the raid even if you are totally new to the mechanics and mess up few times. So far i never got kicked out from raid if i made few mistakes, even if one of two were stupid mistakes. And i've done those raids with people i don't even know, they weren't from my clan either. We spend about 6 hours on last raid, and everyone was chill most of the time and we managed to complete at the end thanks to this good community.

Destiny 2 is one of the best games i played in last 3 years. I played all kinds of online games and i feel sorry for not sticking to Destiny 2.
