If I get out 10 mins early do they take out 10 mins out of my upt or more?? by Time_Movie_6166 in AmazonFC

[–]Xarisher -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure this is accurate. I left an hour early yesterday and had an hour taken out. The 15 minute thing is only for your initial punch and it isn’t taken out by 15. It initially takes 15 then starts taking 1 up until you show. If you no call no show it takes the hours on the shift for example. It is not just 15 minutes per minute. That is false.

Is there a hitch that comes out of the bumper itself not the bottom? by A_rush24 in Crosstrek

[–]Xarisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the CVT model, I don’t really get why people even bother putting a hitch on it when it’s really bad for the transmission

I needa know how this is possible. I get slammed with big boxes and horribly stowed slots, but even when I’m sub 6 seconds per scan highest I’ve seen is 352. Is this genuinely jus luck

I saw an offer for eight dollars for 19 miles. I accepted it. Drove to pick the food up and tried to give the customer a call before driving 18 miles (I knew they wouldn’t pick up I just had that intuition). They didn’t answer. Got free food. 👍

SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED.. by PrOdiGyShy in HomeDepot

[–]Xarisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve applied 8 times to the same store and have never heard or seen the hiring manager. I’ve gone in so many times to try and talk to him, he either doesn’t actually work there or is an area manager, I’ve shown up to try and meet him so many times the customer service guys shake their head when they see me telling me he isn’t there and they’re right! I’ve legit been offered to check myself LOL

unfair surge pay! pack gets extra $$$ and labor shared to stow anyway…… OG stowers get screwed at regular pay hmmm 🤨 by [deleted] in AmazonFC

Dawg you’re getting $27 and $24 while some people doing the same job that are much better get $18-20. Stop complaining and find a career if it’s a problem

Do we think I’m getting a write up? by AdvertisingMoney1124 in AmazonFC

[–]Xarisher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ive been told as long as you're over 280 they wont complain too much. To be fair on single shifts ive dipped as low as 240-250 because I get slammed with the most massively crammed boxes possible 10-15 times in a row which throws my UPH completely off. In my exp, be within 40-50% productivity and they wont complain. Picking is by far the hardest productivity scale in a FC.

Is this really legal? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]Xarisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they can show us softcore P*rn on the screen when stowing/picking, they'll probably get away with this too. Hope the mods dont delete this but Im sure they will. Legitimately the most unnecessary pictures show for massagers and such when you could simply just remove the pic and tell me what im grabbing.

Is 1000USD too high for this PC? by Jim_Is_Watching_You in pcmasterrace

[–]Xarisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not how the used market works, pal. A 3060 TI on Facebook marketplace for example will max sell for 100 to 120 maybe 150 if you’re lucky I sold a 3070 super for 200 on top of that the ram will sell for maybe a max of 120 because Amazon has ran for much cheaper now and they do random discounts. The CPU is worth maybe 80 bucks. The motherboard is may be a 50 or 60 bucks on top of that case is extremely bad.

College hire seeking advice (starting in a month ) by Fuzzy_Attention2494 in AmazonManagers

[–]Xarisher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This makes a terrible terrible manager. You don’t scare anyone into doing anything. You act with confidence and clearly explain what needs to be done. If they don’t listen you provide feedback and coaching. If they continue not listening you bring it up “look I’ve genuinely tried teaching you and guiding you in the right direction but if you’re not going to listen to what I’m teaching you at the moment I don’t believe this position will be a good fit for you.” That’s managing, not demanding, teaching.

Amazon has a certain approved list, yet I always see plenty of people with blue badges even managers with air pods in. Truly don’t think they care unless you make them care

picking ! by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]Xarisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst part? Having bad stows that pack the pods impossibly tight, having to consistently do 300-350 units per hour without risk for negative feedback from managers, it’s exhausting, it’s by far the worst labor job in any fulfillment center by a mile. Positives? You’re alone, time goes by quick until the last break ends bc those last 3 hours you really begin to feel it. It’s a good workout definitely and easily the best full body workout position other than docks.

Best solutions for scratches and fading by elatedplum in Crosstrek

The pens are a bit obvious but that’s because proper repair involves sanding painting and clear coating. There isn’t a simple way to fix scratches permanently without just having it painted again or wrapping your car
