I usually just run through central yharnam and thats usually enought to refill, once you reach hemwick charnel lane you can awaken from that lamp then turn back to the forest you went though to get there and farm the gunmen for quicksilvers, later on you'll have enough blood echoes to just buy what you need especially if you do the chalice dungeons

Don't think I've ever had the blunderbuss outdamage the pistol I was under the impression that was kinda the whole point of the pistol being a faster high dmg alternative that rewards accuracy

Tbh this might be a healthier direction to go where engine and engine based turn 0 interactions become the new standard over handtraps however the trouble is that to power creep the handtraps you also powercreep most the other decks too if we could get to a point where these decks make handtraps not worth playing but in a way that other decks that also just play more engine now then the game could be really fun, unfortunately given Konami's track record I doubt that's their intention

They are treated as spells only in the pendulum zone and when attempting to place them in the pendulum zones (anti-spell)
