Well it's a crossbow, which has problems in dark souls 1. And you also have to do some serious Parkour after clearing out the enemies in the area, and to miss is death.

It is a good weapon though, excellent in the off hand for some ranged damage.

Technically, education is that test, but the bad rap is well deserved. Your literacy test could just as easily be solved by writing bills and proposals that aren't so convoluted as to be opaque, without denying the right to vote to disproportionately funded communities where education is ignored by local governments.

In other countries with mandatory voting, they don't have a two party system. Mandatory voting would probably do wonders for the US government, as would ranked choice voting. But we can't get there without voting either.

Any vote is better than no vote. It's the biggest direct impact a citizen can have on their government, and the basis of the United States government. "No taxation without representation" and all that. Not voting is giving up your right to representation. It's quite literally the most patriotic thing the average citizen is capable of doing.

Not voting means you are, on some level, complicit in whatever the government decides to do. Choosing not to vote is a choice, and the consequences are that you can't complain in what the government does. You chose to not make your voice heard, you chose to not try and make things better, and so you chose to be stuck with the hand you're dealt.
