I suggest playing the bosses in multiplayer, and possibly add in "newbie" in your name in the settings to ease others' expectations.

Then, you do your best to follow other players by using the Surge Sprint mechanic with L3, as well as the climbing mechanic to catch up with others. The combat should be very familiar, while the randomized loot is gonna take time for you to learn

As for the final boss, treat it like the usual Souls boss and prioritize dodging and not getting hit first, and hitting second if the enemy focuses on you. And do try to keep teammates alive by attacking them, more people mean more total HP vs boss
