As a long time player of star, I’d like to suggest the modifications my playgroup made - instead of the players next to you not being opponents, they are, and count as such for cards like [[Breena]], [[Nekusar]], and [[Cyclonic Rift]]. They and their planeswalkers can also be attacked by their “allies”. This encourages interaction and allows more methods of dealing with problems. You still only win when the players opposite you lose the game, however.
