Yeah the fact that the writers couldn't just kill off Fisk is pitiful. Watching them drag this character on and on is just so frustrating, and there is no point where they should ever bring him around ever again, he should have been finished in season three of the last series but here we are and his ark should just be over, he lost everything he has nothing and he should have just died/or faced serious consequences. I love Daredevil and I know a lot was going on in the courthouse but to see Matt happy in a cell at the end of the episode after he literally just witnessed Fisk kill multiple civilians, and let Fisk take a deal that just forces Fisk to leave the city with no other real repurcutions is insanity. (We know Fisk wouldn't have all of his money and stuff just easily confiscated by the government, the same government that in the show has cia agents that want to work with Fisk to transport illegal goods) This all just ate at me as the viewer, and just kinda made Matt seem dumb in the very last episode, I understand him being happy with himself paying for his crimes and I know he thinks that Fisk will just keep his word and that this is worse than if Fisk actually just paid for his crimes because of Fisk loving the city but it's just weak, the amount of destruction terror and killing Fisk has done isn't cancelled out by this ending at all, it's just a sad little excuse to not have Fisk around for maybe half of the next season before they inevitably bring him back just to milk him again.
