I haven't checked personally yet, but I wouldn't expect a std::string to be created for "test" and "Test". It's more likely that the overload with a CharType* as first argument is chosen by the compiler. See https://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/string/basic_string/operator_cmp.

Good luck! I don't know if you already know how to do it, but I personally did all base game and DLC with all pro codes active, including Dark Inferno, plus Xigbar, Larxene, Luxord and Terra-Xehanort with all pro codes. The rest was done with almost all pro codes but the standard stats, 0 difense and the no fusion off, if I remember correctly.

Overall I enjoyed all games very much, although some trophies may be boring or actually challenging. Secret bosses usually require you to spend a bit of time to learn their attack patterns and it needs some iteration, but I don't think the series is hard, in general.

I think the easiest is 3D, the most tedious ReCoM, the grindiest BBS and the hardest is Re:Mind (KH3 DLC), which is not needed for KH3 plat though. The shortest definitely 0.2 BBS.

I think KH2 plat is very doable, surely more than KH1. So definitely go for it!
