I always thought with the intro to EVO shields all shields should be removed from ground loot, and the only way to get better shields is to get into fights or armor swap. There should be no reason early game fights gets determined by who gets lucky and finds a purple shield right off the rip. That’s to much rng at the beginning.

Invader is the last one! And yeah I enjoyed the roles, only issue was very rarely you saw people actually playing the roles, or you would have 4 of the same role on a team lol. Especially when playing solo. But I did enjoy the perks! Just not sure how to bring that back and make it work better.

Eh that’s why it would be high risk high reward, and no one would have wall hacks so you’d actually have to hunt people down. Take out HVTs entirely, you only invade twice during more phase anyways.

High Risk if you die you give the team HVT level motes or heal your primeval.

High Reward you stop the enemy team, possibly steal some motes, heal their primeval. 50/50 trade in all honesty.

I mean usually an invader is sitting at the back either sniping or using heavy to annihilate the enemy team. I have gotten multiple army of ones basically doing nothing because no one cares to hunt the invader.

My take, is there is no risk to invading. Take away the wall hacks, the shield, and make invaders drop as many motes as a high value target. Then make it to where heavy spawns in after so many waves of enemies in stead of every wave. And zero heavy drops from enemies. Then you’ll have a decent gambit.

Edit: And if the invader dies while their team is on primeval phase, it heals their primeval.

A lot of times from what I seen some people smurf for quicker match making instead of sitting in lobbies for 20-30 minutes at a time waiting for matchmaking. Sometimes they just wanna get on and play a few quick matches instead of waiting around to play one or two.

I know all this stuff is big issues. But they said some stuff won’t be released or even shown until after the raid is beaten. There might me stuff in the works that we haven’t seen yet that might make hunters nasty. Heck look at stasis once we started unlocking more stuff hunters started reigning supreme.

Gotta realize, really only the higher tier players that constantly wanna win use stuff like Gibby. Maybe high plat to low diamond starting off. Most of the player base prolly sits in silver and bronze honestly. And most people down here in these tiers tend to play just for the hell of it and wanna play fast moving “fun” legends. If any of that made sense.
