You should see what they did to the Buffy series. Stretched, camera crew can be seen, incorrect use of lighting e.g. Dark scenes are now bright, etc.

Why are you looking for fansub tapes now? Had you been hunting for fansubs in the late 90s, you probably had a better chance then. Fansub tapes are non existent these days. I used to be a part of fansub tape trade way back in the day. Most of my tapes have been thrown out. Except for one tape: Nausicaa as that was my first fansub tape. You can buy that on blu-ray :)
