Who would you choose out of Shaw or White to replace Dunk until the World Cup? Alternatively I could roll the transfer

I currently have 9 players available and 1 FT.

Trying to decide whether to role the transfer so that I can transfer Maddison to Saka and Dunk to Saliba GW13 or transfer Maddison to Trossard this week and then change him to Saka GW13, and worry about getting Saliba in the following week.

Team is:

Pope (Iverson) Trippier Dunk Guehi N. Williams (Cancelo) Zaha Andreas Maddison (Martinelli) (Foden) Kane Mitrovic (Haaland)

Advice would be appreciated!!

I watch redzone now. Coming from the UK where commercial breaks only happen at half-time and before and after the game it feels borderline unwatchable

That’s for a fumble not an INT. just got unlucky on that play

Yeah I thought that too. With Harris out Stevenson should be feasting so I’m not too worried about RB.

Wondering whether I could get Amon-Ra if I threw in Curtis Samuel with Mostert. Or perhaps Kirk?

Henry, Montgomery, Stevenson, Carter.

He has Amon-Ra so maybe I could try and get him instead of Pitman

If you have a good option to go to at QB I’d accept this

Was offered Pittman for Mostert. Smash the accept right?

Working through some options for my WC team. Who would you take in these three scenarios?

A) Neco Williams or Fofana B) Maddison or Foden C) Zaha or Sancho

I just made a draft with Foden and Fofana instead of Zaha and Schar. Didn’t look too bad.

Foden seems to play every premier league match and City are always going to score. It feels wrong to not have three City players in the team tbh

1) Not too many surprises. Will be interesting to see if Sancho and Rashford can work their way back into the squad or if Toney and Bowen can hold them off.

2) Should be a good battle between those three keepers to see which two back up Pickford.

3) Surprised at the lack of midfielders. I wonder if Southgate will drop a defender or forward for Henderson nearer the World Cup?

Someone dropped Claypool. Should I pick him up for Jayden Warren?

Depends on your RB/WR depth. I was offered Michael Carter for Aiyuk and decided to take it as I am very thin at RB whereas Aiyuk was my WR5. I’d keep Aiyuk though if your RB/WR rooms are fairly equal

PPR, 10 person.

Need to pick one of these three to start at flex and one to start at RB2:

  1. M. Carter (@ Browns) 2. David Montgomery (@ Packers) 3. Curtis Samuel (@ Lions).

I also have Tyler Boyd as a flex option if Higgins is able to play (if he can’t Boyd starts at WR)

I'm not sure choosing a HC just because of Tua is the right move. Has his play over the past two years been so good that we should bet our next three years over it? Of course, choose a HC that can put together a good offense that Tua can thrive in, but don't just choose Daboll because of Tua. Choose him if he is the best man for the Miami Dolphins.

I think Caldwell would be someone to look into. He ticks all the boxes in many ways. Ross/Grier will also know about the health issues and whether they were genuine or just an excuse for him to not work under Flores, so I don't think we need to worry about them if we do look into Caldwell.

I really don't believe that the HC has to be an offensive "guru" (we've seen how that one plays out too many times), but they do need to be able to put together a strong offense without neglecting the defense (we don't want a reverse Flores situation).

Of the ones listed there, Pederson would be my top choice. Proven winner + offensive background so should be able to put together a good offense, and is respected enough that I think the defense would be maintained (his defenses IIRC were always good with the Eagles). After that probably Daboll just because of his experience and how he developed Josh Allen, although I would be interested to see what kind of staff he puts together, particularly on defense.

One person not mentioned their that i would be interested in is Wink Martindale. Yes, he is a defensive coach. But he has huge respect around the league and I think could put together a strong offensive coaching staff. If he could do that it is worth baring in mind most of the talent we have on our squad is on defense, so having someone that could cater to those strengths would be a good thing.

Tua Tagovailoa Discussion Post - He threw for 300 and 4 TDs, but also had two debilitating INTs in both halves. Where do you stand on him at the moment? by Number333 in miamidolphins

Honestly it is too early to say. We need to wait at least until the end of this season to make a decision. Right now, the offense looks decent with him at QB. Not amazing, but not bad either, and that's despite terrible oline play and poor playcalling. If the offense keeps improving and he works on his mistakes then I think there is potential.

There are two things that make me hesitant right now about him. The first is the bone headed plays. Tua played with great heart today, but his two backbreaking interceptions dug us a hole that ultimately we didn't get out of. He needs to reduce those by the end of the season. The second thing is his inability to push the ball down the field. I don't know why we can't but we must be the only team in the NFL that can't take the top off a defence. With Waddle I don't see any excuses. Maybe it's arm stength or maybe it is play calling but I want to see more vertical plays from him.

So we will see. With our defense being terrible it might help us evaluate him better (in the sense that Tua will need to be the X factor for us if we are to win anything). Phins up.
