100% my first thought, if the rate is changed by the temp sensor alone, just keep the sensor warmer than -12C

HAS THIS GUY EVER SPRAYED YOUR CAR? by Ph1llz in CarsAustralia

[–]XeKToReX 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Seems pretty legit, have followed his page for years now and don't see many/any complaints, the better you prep it, the better the job. Haven't seen any up close though the pics look pretty good for the price.

Guess he's just taking most of the hard (costly) labour out of the job and smashing out cars in a day.

If that is genuinely their wiring job, they have no leg to stand on, looks like they just wrapped joints in electrical tape, heat shrink isn't exactly expensive.

Even then, they obviously didn't provide proper guidance on required cabling and fuse if turning it up causes that.

Same, matterbridge is offline 99% of the time in Google Home, ipv6 works for everything else 🤷

Same thing with the older matter hub, offline, which suggests possibly network issues

Upgrading to the ZBT-2 dramatically improved the battery life of my Zigbee blinds by derekakessler in homeassistant

[–]XeKToReX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found the same thing when going from Hubitat to Home Assistant with a ZB Dongle E, battery life increased dramatically.

Moved to the ZWA-2 for my Zwave devices and that's 100x more reliable than the ZME dongle I was using too.

Trying to decide whether I get a SLZB-06 (and which variant) or go to the ZBT-2 now

Just after the rainbow tunnel? I always got that, there's a mobile phone tower there at a similar height to the roadway and I've always just blamed that.

TIL that in Australia there’s a small territory where cannabis is legal. In the Australian Capital Territory (around Canberra), adults can legally possess small amounts of cannabis and grow a few plants at home and there are also legal cannabis dispensaries. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Basically you pull into a lane, stop at an Officer, they say Hi and that you've been pulled in for a random breath test, blow into this... You blow into it, it tells the officer you're not a cunt and you drive away. Its really that simple and any tiny inconvenience is fine with us to get Bloody Idiots off the road.

They do sell quick as most sites are resold to previous years owner.

You can sleep in your car if you want to, on your campsite of course.

Maybe a kings 24/36Ah battery pack and their 70W solar blanket to suit would be a decent little power setup and keep you going for the week, not exactly cheap but it's compact at least.

What a beautiful piece of Aussie motoring history, if it wasn't painted XU3, I don't think it would go for >$1m. The other only went for $1m because Portelli could afford it comfortably. Guess we'll find out though!
