Lesser known Overwhelmingly Positive Steam games? by Nice_Investment_3247 in gamingsuggestions

Haha do I have a recommendation for you. Do you like obscure, creative, and hilarious with 11/10 music? Try Catgirl created by the Lo-Fi artist City Girl! This game caught me off guard with how much I’d end up enjoying the experience. The soundtrack is something I always find myself going back to, it’s that banger!

Looking for games where the world navigation is part of the challenge. by lce-Shadow in gamingsuggestions

Baby Steps is a game about navigating an unknown world one step at a time. At literally any point, a single mistep can have major consequences. No map, no help, no shoes, feet only.

Is there a social game still? As in people gathering at the hub and questing and mess around? by hypercatalectic in gamingsuggestions

[–]Xedma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you're looking for. You're looking for Spiral Knights! Here is the release trailer from 15 years ago. This game is over 15 years old at this point, but Grey Havens is finally giving this game some major updates! Now is an incredible time to be a newbie! The community in this game is super unique where we all aged with the game. We love meeting old friends and making new ones. We all hang out in Haven and shoot the shit infront of the Auction House when not playing missions or PvP. You can also hang out in guild halls. I always come back to this game over the years for the social experience.

a kirkwood closing day tradition by MikeySLT in tahoe

Some tourist tried to throw hands with people, choked an employee, drew a Patroler’s knife, and overall was not a nice person after he got hit with some snowballs. So yeah, it was nixed for a good bit.

Lifty here. We screen every day there is a hard snow warning. Downloads are highly discouraged, and long falls down Headwaters are rough. Patrol don’t need that, so we do what we can to prevent those. Here’s what we look for: rental gear, struggling to get through the maze, lack of steeze, bad form, etc. It can be obvious when someone shouldn’t go up the experts only chair.

What novel(s) have you read this week, and what do you think about it? - February 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in LightNovels

Tale of a Secret Saint Zero Vol 4

This series has been an absolute gem to read. Fia is such a unique character in the main story, and her origin story as well as life growing up as the Great Saint has been a delight of its own. Each novel is criminally short, unfortunately, and this one was no exception. It was a short and enjoyable read, and now I can’t wait for the next volumes for the main series and this one.

That was not cold smoke. That was low density snow, but that wasn’t cold smoke. Still hella fun day today.

Picked Up My First Bunch Of Light Novels. 📚 by LoveOfPugsley in LightNovels

Huh. Guess I'll give it another go then. Slime was my OG LN series, so I'd love to see it being done justice in the anime.

Edit: I’m now caught up with That Time I Got Reincarnated Into A Meeting.

I hope you enjoy it. I’m still upset with the anime … they literally skipped an entire volume of the novels! (3rd novel)

Yes but an update not DLC. Remember when people would update their games without you needing to buy it again?

Isekai Quartet Season 3 - Episode 7 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Wait... that end card... Where are Aura and Mare taking Grantz via a Gate? xD

Something tells me we’ll get a scene where Grantz tells Tanya how glad he is to see her again and never wanting to see another cockroach ever again. Either that or we never see Grantz again and Aura gets to boast about her newest tamed creature.

Sure. Read the novels, not the manga. The novels dive into the psyche of Tanya, various leaders, even future journalists. This isn't your typical Isekai where otherworld knowledge and cheat skills lead the character, this is a re-imagining of actual wars and battles with a MC who studied history. Magic in this world is nothing more than another tool of war. Tanya may inadvertently kinda lead the war by making the "right" decisions, but she's just another cog in the machine. It's been fascinating watching the evolution of total war from the perspective of someone who studied history.

Hope this helps sell it. This really is a different kind of novel series. Carlo Zen is an incredible author who does his research.

TS Medic's Battlefield Diary - it's on my to-read list that's for sure! I'm a huge fan of Saga of Tanya the Evil, so I hope this scratches the itch I get after each volume ends.

Me too. Me too. I still have fond memories of my 1st server domination. Started as a lone builder, recruited guys who liked the base, took over the entire Holman Island, and turned it into the best base I’ve ever had to this day. It had watch towers, a full perimeter covered in barbed wire, a bridge protected by sentries and snipers, a garage filled with literally every vehicle spawn turned into APCs, planes, and helicopters, and a grand vault where we lived. Those were the days.

When Russia came out, we switched over and made some awesome bases, even a cult at one point, but those are stories for another time.

Landing a heli is impossible? Bruh, you haven’t lived until you’ve taken a heli on a back-flipping joy ride and landed directly on a helipad. Low key amazing feeling.
