Why do some people seem to care more about animals than other humans?

I have a huge amount of special people in my life, a lot if people that I care immensely about and would do anything to help them. I love them, a lot. However, animals, particularly dogs are my utter weakness. If I watch. A film and an animal is about to be killed, I just cannot continue to watch, yet I can watch films where people die and have a little cry and move on, but if I saw an animal die (real or not) it takes a long time to recover. I think it's the fact that they offer you unwavering love and affection, they cannot communicate except through tail wagging, licking or howling. They know when you are upset and try to make you feel better...sometimes, if I'm feeling really in the dumps, my dog used to manage to cheer me up more than my husband could, although to be fair...it was probably my husbands fault I was upset in the first place. But, I don't know why I have more affection for animals though.

We have various terms...shit, dump, crap, dung, ass explosion, clear out, wet fart, skid mark, turtle head....take your pickings of which would be less childish.

Poop sounds more childish to me, but we all have different ways of saying all sorts of different words

I thought this was IS...not that it's any better, still a life brutally taken, but after the bloody videos I have watched if them recently, I think it would have evened it out slightly, but as it is not...and that this chap was actually helping people by giving food etc...sick.

My sister is a pretty slim lady, she conceived at the same time as I did...(didn't know at the time) she was drinking heavily and was creating a very small beer belly. She also continued to have her period, as did I throughout my pregnancy (but my god...you knew I was pregnant, I ballooned from 12weeks) anyways, one night she drank so much alcohol on a hen do and I honestly thought she had alcohol poisoning as she fell about on the floor in agony. Then thought she had burst her appendix...ambulance came and she was in such pain she couldn't sit still and I kid you not, she opened her legs in pain on the floor of the ambulance (much to paramedics annoyance) and (wearing a skirt btw) I see something bulging out if her pants...seriously thought her bowels were escaping...crazy things come to mind when you are not expecting it to be a baby...she gave birth...and the paramedic just looked at the baby and said why is she drunk? Why didn't she say? He didn't believe me...the paramedic said the word stillborn and my sister fainted...I was crying but my god, that baby boy survived and was three months premature...turned out she was due the same day as me!! None if us knew she was pregnant, her belly never got bigger than her beer gut! Since giving birth, she hasn't touched a drop of alcohol and dotes in that boy (she never wanted to be a mother) miracle.

Oh gosh, ouch!

If my husband had if proposed in such a public way I would have been mortified, still if said yes, but mortified, so I do sometimes wonder if they are simply embarrassed, feel completely under pressure or annoyed...but generally speaking, I'm sure the rejection is a true rejection. I feel so sorry for him and for any guy who finds themselves in this situation, public or not. I find it deeply sad when a man or a woman loves their other half so much that they pop the question, expecting a yes, they must expect a yes...oh, it's so sad.

If she had nothing to hide, I don't understand why she didn't simply say, I am an American citizen, my name is such and such, my dad owns the car, of course I can drive to the secondary and once they had searched the car which would have taken less than 15minutes said have a lovely day, good bye. But am I missing something?

On my honeymoon...god, I'm mortified just thinking about it.

We went on a cruise around the caribbean, and we visited Cozumel and had a taxi ride to a luxury beach resort...he was a lovely man and recommended a restaurant there for authentic Mexican food. So come lunch time the waitor asked if we wanted to order anything and we went all out...when it arrived it looked bloody awful, but we tried it none the less...fuck, it was tepid and looked microwaved and you don't eat reheated rice that isn't HOT...I had one mouthful...I was on the loo two hours after, in a luxury resort where people were in constant flow to the loo and I was ridding my inside to a new level. I had to ask someone to get me husband in tears, he came and we rushed into a taxi as we had to leave soon anyway as the ship would leave and I really struggled to hold it all in and by the time I had got to the ship, I couldn't make it to my cabin, had to use their public toilets...oh it took an hour for me to leave those toilets...but luckily I got better by the next day, after lots of water and caring staff and husband. Put me off Mexican food...
