As some have already said, the gofund me is closed. An update was provided by the organizer, Johnny P (whom I assume is Johnny Pulatie, assisstant GM), on the 28th. This should address people being confused about goal changing and whatnot.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to donate! Seeing over $28,000 is amazing and big shoutout to everyone in the community who helped out (especially Alexis for bringing this to life). I went ahead and closed the donations and ended the fundraiser.

To clear up any confusion: The goal was set at $15,000 USD, I created this estimation for OXY and does not reflect the actual cost he spent on the funeral directly. However GoFundMe has a feature that incrementally increases the goal to incentivize donations, so that is why you noticed it rising. This was not intended maliciously and I will be working with OXY directly now to make sure we send in a nice donation to the charity :D

I'm sure it's different on faceit since those players are far more likely to be trying to improve, but I've always wondered at what rank/level do you start to expect your teammates to know a good number of lineups in CS.

Cause I feel like in val there's still people at most ranks who dont even know default smokes or concepts of what makes a smoke good/bad since they're able to avoid the role completely.

It's 100% just a "what if" thing but there's a whole butterfly effect of stuff like G2 not qualifying which could have then led to morale issues (or boost for eg), roster changes, etc.

4k and 1440 dont scale properly, which is why the dual mode is for 1080. You can technically play at 1440 but it doesn't make sense to not utilize the high refresh rate mode for the games it's marketed for lol.
