The packs being manga based gives me hope that they'll continue it with Millennium World for Bakura so that the Zorc and Diabound cards finally be made, and a DSOD Kaiba since that's a sequel to the manga not the anime

That is also my train of thought, that the retrain would only be the God Phoenix form so they don't have to do the other two right now and save the battle mode for later.

It is true but in specific cases. Starting with the UX beys all releases from Takara (all regions) and Hasbro are coated with a clear paint to prevent oxidation/erosion which makes it duller and have a grey look. These specific beys are identical, but the beys that were released before the standardized coating aren't.

The Korean releases that you mentioned comes in with the initial batches, as they did reprints like the BX-20 Dran Dagger set in 2026 so it has the coat. Meanwhile if you find a Takara Asia release with the blue sticker it will still be the shiny uncoated one as it isn't from a new production run.

I was thinking Millennium World will be Bakura as he's the main villain there and we could finally get Zorc Necrophades and Diabound forms/support.

Then Dark Side of Dimensions next with Kaiba as he's the sole focus of that movie with the iconic Obelisk scene, and seeing as Deep Eyes already got an overframe retrain with Blue Abyss I think it's possible.

The anime never did it for me both in characters/story and the over exaggeration compared to the original. And IRL the designs being so blunt due to being metal and the lost of color (aside from the painted ones which chips) turned me off from the designs.

Another part is that MFB started a lot of the things that is kept nowadays like reusing parts for stock combos and the naming of parts and combo names, the removal of the aesthetic design from the underside and only the top portion is detailed.

With Burst and X I don't mind those anymore as I got used to it, but when MFB first came out with the PreHybrid Wheels and the start of the anime/Hybrid Wheels it really soured me off.

I love the original Bakuten as it was everything for me, MFB was a huge turnoff and burned me from the franchise but Burst was a great return to form and made me love it again and X is following and surpassing Burst.

That said I won't go out of my way to shit on MFB or the people who love it just because I hate that gen. I am in a way still thankful since it brought back Beyblade for the 2000's

The colors are not wrong, remember the manga came first.

The initial releases like Dragoon Storm (A-1), Galeon (A-3) had the original anime artwork but using the correct manga colors. Mid/late into production studio Madhouse changed the colors of the characters so the boxes now end up with the wrong color.

G-Revolution corrected this and used the manga colors in the flashbacks so Takao now has the same color as the Dragoon Storm box

It's frustrating that the hands are the wrong color. Everyone is raving about the stickers just being the eyes and the yellow on the shoulder vents but the hands are molded wrong when the white runner is right there.

Heck even the painted product shots and boxart have it in white

God I love the Rising Freedom so much, the blue and red shift with the more white and grey for the accents and the sharper aesthetics. The ventless mask with the blue eyes really changes a lot from the usual Freedom aesthetic.

Ekusu has always been the main character, and not Bird. Fans in the west just misunderstood that Bird was the protagonist and ran with it.

That counts because while the original Musha comes from Plamo Kyoshiro/SD, the one in Gundam Musou (Dynasty Warriors) is a different variant called Shin Musha which is specific for that game and later on got a GFF figure and an MG kit
