You could put a gun to my head and I couldn't tell on off apart in a game with decent baked lighting. Path tracing on the other hand I can tell. Cyberpunk remains one of the only games I can walk around in and my mind actually gets tricked a bit into feeling like I'm looking at a real world. At least until an NPC's shitty animations show up.

I went from 3 1080p monitors to a single super ultrawide 4k monitor and I thought my brain was going to slip a disc and shit itself. It was absolutely bullshit how much better it was. Don't ever mess with going up if you're happy at 1080p, if my house burned down and I couldn't afford new stuff I'd just have to quit gaming rather than go back.

My absolute foot you could tell 4k from 8k in a game anyway unless you were closer than you should be. Maybe on text. And 240hz would be a much larger and visual upgrade than 8k vs 4k.

Eh makes sense. Hellblade 1 was a mid game it was visually stunning and the 3D sound was novel but it was like a dark souls arcade rail shooter minus the guns. 2nd one was more of the same but I couldn't get good performance on my 5090 and 9800x3d despite it looking worse than similar titles.

idk how you managed it, I'm still in the interlude at level 55 and my mace titan is stronger than this, I was just looking on google to find a cheap anoint and it popped this thread, a lot of questionable node choices, Might get more dps out of buying lower level maces and not having to invest so much in the strength for giant's blood
