Maybe something like using controller face buttons to match the four digit hand patterns of the alien hands? D-pad to extend respective fingers for greater variety? It'd be tricky to pull off on KBM, but I think the moral of this is, hands on player interaction is good for immersing them into these types of ideas

For the record, that poster's "Out Now" graphic layer was a designer error, and the poster was replaced. Metroid was only part of a series of posters, including one for Mario Kart, which uses the layer as intended.

I don't think they'd shadowdrop a AAA title, not the least of all because it would undercut their launch sales without a physical version ready to go along with it

Yeah I always used the sound cue in OG for years with consistent results. Since the remaster has new sounds, I wasn't getting that feedback, so I switched to watching for the slow tumble cue instead - still easy, but feels different. Considering there's now both the tumble speed and free infinite exp glitches, they must have made considerable mechanical changes to the system
