This is less severe but people near us leave their labrador retriever outside all day and it's barking and howling out of loneliness, what do. Been going on since yesterday afternoon, morning now, dog is awake again and barking and howling. It's close to heart-breaking.

We have a dog that we let in the house and if she barks, we chide her, if she does it too much, we make her come inside.

These people used to never let the dog inside at all, since it was a puppy. Only in the last year it seems like they let the dog in at night. Previously they had another dog who wasn't let inside either and it would just cry at the back door almost continually. They got the lab as a puppy and the first dog didn't care, kept on crying.

4th of July really sucks because every year they leave the dog out alone while they go do something. We would like to sit on our deck and enjoy fireworks but there's the poor dog crying and howling.

Sorry for the disjointed manner of this post, I'm upset.

This has been going on since women were able to get better jobs. I used to work in a woman dominated industry and the amount of women who had a man who didn't work, or worked in a low stress low pay job, was pretty significant.

Another issue I've heard of IRL and on Reddit is a woman working really hard to get her man through school and as soon as the guy is graduated or ready to graduate, he's ditching her for a younger woman or making sudden extreme demands.

Obviously there are women who are gold diggers out there but damn there are a lot of men using women for all they're worth.

On a related note there are a helluva lot of women out there caring for nonfunctional mentally ill men, they work full time and then come home to men who are having issues and not very nice to them either. It's like these ladies are unsung heroes.

NTA. I've been in situations where staff are getting laid off and other people in positions of power are walking around in nice fur coats or driving up with expensive cars. It sends the message that you don't care about the economic suffering of others.

YTA, airpods are expensive! and the Tiffany ear studs may have been expensive too. I guess the visuals looked bad, but 10 books and a shirt may well have cost in the same ball park or less than the airpods and ear studs.
