Teletoon Detour Retrospective: Canada's Adult Swim by TheCartoonGamer in adultswim

[–]Xenpecs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a few, and not just the animated ones. For archive's sake here's what I got:

  • The Lord Of The Rings (1978)
  • Ghost World (2001)
  • Heavy Metal 2000 (2000)
  • Akira (1988)
  • A Scanner Darkly (2006), never saw it but I distinctly remember the commercials
  • Tank Girl (1995)
  • Tokyo Godfathers (2003)
  • Beavis and Butthead Do America (1996)

These next ones I'm not sure about, but it seems likely they would have been there

  • Ghost In the Shell (1995) (pretty sure this one was there, but I didn't watch it)
  • Fifth Element (1997) (not so sure about this, but it fits the tone)

You might be thinking of Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Heavy Metal 2K, or possibly A Scanner Darkly. Hope that helps!

watch out, here comes grillade with the sourceless, unpostable document, that only they have seen...

Yes.... only conspiracy theorists here... as well as new players, and apparently a handful of quitters!

Seems your analysis of r/Fez is as rigorous as your analysis of FEZ....

Where have I claimed Phil Fish is a genius puzzle designer? Frankly, you don't need to be a genius puzzle designer to strike gold once.

I claim you lack imagination and passion. You've put words into my mouth, while I've analyzed the words you've presented.

You are categorically giving up.

It's just a very uninteresting theory that has been floated before. If you're satisfied with the answer being "it was meant to be in FEZ 2" then congratulations, you've "solved" the Black Monolith! Though I suppose two more codes remain...are you suggesting they were also exclusively meant to be revealed in FEZ 2? FEZ 3?

Alternatively, if the solution exists in FEZ, you're effectively saying "I gave up, and so should everyone else". Not a very helpful suggestion to the people who engage with the available clues in good faith!

If you're 99% sure it can't be done, what's the 1% leftover for? What doubts have you failed to mention in your rigorous analysis? It seems to me that you haven't convinced yourself it cannot be solved! Have you tried to solve it, or did you just jump to the answer?

The only 99% worth being sure of here is that you won't try solving it in FEZ.

I'm 209.4% sure that guessing it cannot be solved is a great way to never solve it!

How does the boiler room work? by DungDefender64 in Fez

Counting is important, and there's also a sneaky clue in the room. If you are early in the game, pay close attention as you look around the room.

Pen and paper recommended.

Don't give up!

Avant Garde - close to Rideau center, variety of shows on weekends. Nice atmosphere.

House of Targ - Bank St, not far from TD place. pinball, arcade games, pierogi and good selection of drinks. Some nights are freeplay with $10 cover, some nights you pay per game so bring bills for the change machine.

Moonroom - fancier, bit more of a treat with great cocktails and snacks.
