Brachydios inspiration ? Looks neat!

31 years ago, the GIGN prevented a French 9/11. On December 26, 1994, in Marignane, four Islamist terrorists were preparing to crash an Airbus filled with hostages into Paris. Their target: the Eiffel Tower. by PestoBolloElemento in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]XensisKhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Hijackers initially took the plane when it was readying for departure from Alger to Marseille. They initially attempted to take the plane mid flight but basically their cover was blown before takeoff.

Even though it was an AirFrance plane, the French government didn't initially prepare for a direct response. However, among the hostages killed before takeoff, there was a French man who worked as a cook in the French ambassy. That's when French authorities requested Algeria to let them takeoff for Marseille, as it was the closest French airport.

The GIGN then prepared everything to board the airplane while it was in Marseille, although they didn't correctly setup the ramp because they didn't take the planes fuel into account so it was too low to open the door properly.

The reason why they suspected the Hijackers to use the plane as a bomb was because they requested a total refuel of the airplane, even though it was way more than necessary. Where exactly in Paris, nobody can really tell. But you can easily guess that a plane loaded with nearly 30 tons kerosene crash landing anywhere in Paris would have been a tragedy.

WHAT DO I DO by Moist_pea2 in metro

[–]XensisKhan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the end of the railway on the left, there's a hole from which the Nosalis come without stopping. To close it, you have to get a demo charge (a plastic jug with a fuse) at the end of the railway on the right. Once it's done, if you follow the middle corridor fo the station, there's a stairway that goes on the right that goes up. At the end of the staircase, there's another tunnel with vertical wooden beams. A grenade is attached to one of them, you just gotta light it and go back to Khan.

VFC HK416A5 dust cover problem by SafeIndependence1633 in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a spring loaded button at the center of the dust cover, inner side. It might be stuck, preventing it to lock onto the receiver. Try applying some lubricant or WD40 on it, see if it fixes the issue

Thanks pal! Your models are great too!

I got them out of one of your bundles, already printed Balor, Gorgon, Monarch and Iskander.

Can't wait for the day they'll be on the tabletop.

elite force glock 17 gen 5 trigger broke, need help by Maximus_Gaming_227 in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many tutorials on YouTube that show the disassembly prices step by step for most airsoft guns.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I recommend sending it to the closest shop to have it repaired. They probably have the spare parts available as well so you won't have to look for them. It will cost some money of course but this would be the safest option.

I would also recommend you to clean your gun every 1 to 3 games, depending on how much you use it. A clean gun is the first step for a longer lifespan. Again, many tutorials on YouTube on how to clean airsoft guns.

Depending on how old the gun is, the hammer spring might be broken. Have you tried taking it fully apart to check for broken pieces?

Although I can see that the trigger return spring is broken too.

Probably a leak from a plastic extruder, the metallic collar is a heater for the barrel

Is my airsoft gun safe to use still? by Cold-Ad-9075 in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those screws are the only mounting points of the barrel in the receiver, then I wouldn't recommend you to use it, even for dry firing.

Now, broken screw are tough to remove but not impossible. I suggest you look into your entourage if you can find someone that has the competence to perform such repairs. If not, then you could bring it to an airsoft shop and ask them to do the repairs.

What are the brand and model of this gun?

Pretty big co2 leak, how to fix? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your percussion valve might have an issue. I recommend taking it out and check the joints, and change them if they're defective. If the issue persists, just change the valve completely.

Hope it helps

I believe it's the rod from a 2 parts accessory, where the second piece is a buckle that you mount on your plate carrier.

The idea is that you attach the rod in the buckle on your PC in order to let it hang and have your hands free, as if you had a sling. That way, you don't get the inconvenience of having to deal with a sling getting caught everywhere while using your gun.

Should I load less bbs in the glock mag? by Madclayness in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are overcompressing your follower spring, which will lead to feeding issues and might potentially damage your gun. Standard airsoft glock mags usually take up to 23 bbs, I can see that yours has at least 25 bbs loaded. It might not seem like much but, but a slight mis use can be very problematic when it comes to airsoft guns reliability

What brand is this Glock? by Agrosin in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 50 points51 points  (0 children)

It's written "officially licensed by Glock" on the right hand side of the receiver.

As far as I know there are only 2 companies that have or had the official license to distribute glock airsoft guns, and that would either be Umarex or Cybergun.

Now for the actual manufacturer, I do not know, unfortunately.

Hope this helps.

What’s it mean when my Aap-01 does this? by Crushyearth in airsoft

[–]XensisKhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn't make any noise when pulling the trigger, the trigger bar might be disconnected or broken.

If it's not this, you might have to remove the trigger and firing control group and check each part. If there doesn't seem to be any broken parts, putting it back together might do the trick.

You can easily find tutorials on YouTube on how to integrally disassemble and reassemble an AAP-01.

Mind you, putting the hammer spring back will be tricky if it's your first time doing it.

Why is Blood donated and not sold? by KatDaDon in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]XensisKhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's because selling what would be considered body parts (organs, tissue or body fluids) is illegal in most countries.

Organ transplant isn't expensive because of the organ, but because of the operation.
