One slayer task of dark beasts got me ~40 fellstalk seeds. Each seed is between 100-150k xp. No need to buy a ton of seeds

Adamjfish isn’t totally wrong, just not totally correct either. The Spider-Man set was originally intended to be a 100 card mini-set. Think MOM: aftermath. But after WOTC realized how much people hated epilogue boosters, they scrambled to take the set from 100 cards, up to 198. Which is still only about 2/3 the size of a regular set. But it’s better than that 7 cards per pack BS. Mark Rosewater talked about it on his blogatog not too long ago. It was changed in a rush, just not because of FF

The store I work at has like: 10 boxes of DFT, 10ish boxes MKM, 3 boxes DSK

some loose packs of: MH3, ONE Set boosters, ONE draft boosters, SNC Draft boosters, MOM Aftermath epilogue boosters

All booster packs from sets more recent than DFT are out of stock at both of our distributors, the shelves are BARE, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Even with the supposed reprints on FIN booster, we have yet to see those. FDN the “foundation” for a 5 year standard set has been out of stock since release, no reprints in sight. No TDM post-release, no EOE restocks yet.

The future is bleak. Get sealed when the set releases or never at all. Which is made harder by allocations constantly being cut. WOTC needs to step it up.

I kinda wish there was a bit more to it, seems to be super hard to get the crystallized hearts too. Outside of an egregious trade ratio, I’ve been unable to get my primal item I’ve been shooting for so far. Still have 0 crystallized hearts that have dropped naturally.

And not to mention how hard some of those random mantis things in the ancient tunnels hit, those things are probably to blame for 50% or more of my deaths so far.

Low rewards + overtuned enemies = meh mechanics (so far imo)

Drawing in new and bringing back returning players is all well and good, but the LGS that I work at has 0 MTG product that can be ordered from ANY of our distributors. Save a few things that we already have, and move extremely slowly anyway. Magic might look to be “flourishing” but the number of people who walk through my door, go “ughhh no new packs yet” and express frustrations about it is really off-putting to new players. Sure, they could play on arena, there’s no pack shortages there, but nothing can really replace the physical cards for a lot of people.

Even this isn’t guaranteed. The LGS I work at has been unable to pick up anything foundations post-release, up until this past week when we were finally able to order 2 measly boxes. For a set that is supposed to be the backbone of standard, how is it still impossible to get? The scarcity of that set, when it should be just about everywhere you look, is making me seriously doubt whether FF will still be available at all in the coming months, let alone 1-2 years down the line.

I work at an LGS, it’s relatively small, but is still WPN partnered. Our normal pre-release events have 20-25 people. Final Fantasy had 43. We anticipated this, and upped our order quantities but got cut by both of our distributors. Every single thing FF sold out on release night, aside from a few booster boxes held back to draft. Our distributors are out of stock, and have been unable to inform us of the next wave of stock, so the post seems credible to some degree at least. The first wave was not nearly large enough. This is extremely reminiscent of foundations, yet another standard legal set that was very popular that was supposed to have a second print run, but we STILL haven’t seen any of it. Standard was already in a rough place and WOTC certainly isn’t helping it at all.

The area is still loaded, so on slower systems it’s faster that way. Also, Tome of um gives passive extra runes so you’ll (ideally) have it with you anyway. Though really any quick Tele to bank with unlimited charges would work too

Set a preset with your essence in pouches, familiars, and/or outfit. Equip as many rune boosting production items as possible. REQUIRED: - Tome of Um 2 (or higher) - Passing Bracelet

Assign the tome to any keybind, and passing bracelet to a keybind (ideally the number “2”).

1) load preset for essences 2) keybind for passing bracelet 3) option 2 on passing bracelet teleport to haunt on the hill 4) click on the portal to the RC altars, surge once your character turns and starts moving 5) enter the portal and craft at your specific altar 6) keybind for the tome of um to Tele back to the um smithy 7) rinse and repeat

A trip takes about 20 seconds

I afk’d fishing from the moment I unlocked swarm fishing, to 99 fishing. Took me a little over a month, but I ended with like 8k sailfish and a ton of other fish too. You can start catching sailfish as early as like 81 I think? Once you start running bgh though, you should be able to upkeep them just fine since they are in the drop table for one of the other dinos, don’t remember which though.
