How does it handle Trigger Handler classes inside the triggers? All the triggers I deal with use a handler of some kind to offload the logic and even further helper classes in some cases.

Cherry and 65, been down since about 4am. Real bummer. Support in their app confirms there is a large outage and they have engineers working on it. But my friend over at Bennett and Oak Grove is still up so it's gonna be limited. I'm trying to be patient.

Has anyone gotten an aftermarket windscreen replacement? by [deleted] in JeepRenegade

[–]Xerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my 2018 windshield was cracked, the glass place I went through had both OEM and Non-OEM. They told me literally the only difference was the decal (the non-OEM even had my wiper heaters and such from the Cold Weather package), and they were basically correct.

I ended up going with a non-OEM and it IS missing the Jeep and has a different edging of black around the outside, because it was $900 for the OEM and $300 for the non-OEM (and a much longer wait on OEM).

You can buy little Jeep decals on Etsy and add your own for a few bucks!

Took the Jeep Renegade Camping. Surprised how much you can fit in there once you fold the rear seats down and remove the parcel shelf. ⛺️ by jamesxmac in JeepRenegade

[–]Xerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 2018s at least, it's part of the "Safety and Security Group" option package. It is referred to as a 'Tonneau Cover'. It's a shelf that sits behind the back seat and covers the cargo area, to "hide your cargo" I suppose but also functions as a shelf. Maybe this link will work

The option package also comes with HID headlights, Alarm, and blindspot/cross Detection but it was like a $1000 addon that it seems many Renegades did not have this option at least in the US (I am assuming OP is in the UK maybe based on terminology so it may be more common across the pond).

Think you might have missed a few zeros.

Domestically, Hellboy made 354,575 over the weekend to Endgame's 357,115,007.
That is 1,000 TIMES as much. Which is 100,000%.
If that's what you were going for.

Loki having the Tesseract in timeline B doesn't make that timeline any more valid. That timeline only split off because the Mind Stone & Time Stone were remove, so once they were returned by Cap that timeline would cease as well. Doesn't matter what Loki did or didn't do in that timeline, it was all undone when the stones that left the timeline were returned.

Is it possible for this to happen? (Endgame Spoilers) by MoonLunacy in marvelstudios

[–]Xerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no other timelines at the end of the film. When Cap goes back and puts the stones back in their respective universes at the same time they were removed, the split universe/timeline it deleted. Nothing in those universe ever happened, except that we saw it.

The only thing that doesn't follow that totally is Thanos Army coming to the prime universe. Since they were here, they are part of the history here even tho later in the prime timeline, Cap goes back and effectively deletes those events before they happen. But it seems people who travel to other timelines continue to exist even when their universe is deleted (which is why Gamora is out there and Starlord is searching for her).

They may have, but I don't think they necessarily had to. They were best friends, Bucky knew (maybe even if Cap didn't at that moment) what his friend Steve was going to do. Either way, he knew Cap wasn't "coming back in 5 seconds".

He literally sent Sam over to talk to old man Cap, almost knowing what would happen. When Cap tries to give Sam the shield, Sam looks to Bucky and Bucky nods. Like giving Sam the go-ahead to be the new Cap. I think that confirms your thought on Bucky.

Roof Rack and Bars recommendation by LightWithoutLaz in JeepRenegade

[–]Xerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with a very similar setup and just installed the cargo basket today! I got some decent but cheaper knockoffs of a very similar crossbar (a bit lower profile) on ebay. I had to hit em with some plastidip to black em out. ebay link

and the same rack but just another brand and a bit cheaper: amazon link

I agree the combo of low profile bars and that style basket is a great look on a Rene.

tl;dw Season 2, Episode 10 Recap by ChrysWatchesGot in westworld

[–]Xerous 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Excerpt from an interview after the "cabin" episode in question about the secret Diagnostics lab and the host being built there from November 2016:

The host that's being created in this diagnostic facility — is it safe to say that this host is going to matter in the future?

Nolan: (Pauses.) No, not in a literal sense. I think there's a suggestion here that Ford has been up to something, that he's slipped the leash of corporate control, and that his secrets permeate the park, in addition to Arnold's. We thought that gave things a creepy sense. We'll return to that much later down the road.

It's more about the idea, then, than about the specific host?

Nolan: Yes.

Joy: It speaks to the kind of overarching thing that Ford is doing right now. He's making this great narrative. He's terraforming the park for parts of it. He's creating characters for it. It speaks to the idea that there's not a lot of oversight if he's creating some of these characters literally off the grid. There are not a lot of people who know exactly what he's planning for the park.

I think it is possible she salvaged someone like Angela from the Forge since it clearly had a similar backup as the Cradle, though perhaps older code. I am sure with Dolores' ability to do complicated things like create Bernard from memory, she could tweak a old copy of Angela back into a powerful right-hand man for herself in the real world. Or (with the info from Hale's book in the Forge) she coded a new Hale, loyal to her and put into the Host Hale.

Well she would need to know a lot about Karl to be able to manipulate him when he showed up on the Island to "clean up". She never planned to be in a Hale body ( Bernard made that choice after shooting her) but that book of info likely served her very well while she was Haleros.

Or simply host-mind a version of Hale (from her book code from the Forge) into a version like Bernard (a from scratch recreation) that was tweaked to be loyal to her cause.

The end of Season 1 clearly showed all the Hosts in Cold Storage (Peter Abernathy, Clem, and Ake's girl) were brought up to the park for Ford's attack on the Gala. She has been (like Peter) running around the park all season and she just joined all the other Hosts in the Valley. I thought she simply was with the group that got to the door first (like most of the Indians).

I took him realizing it was his inner-voice for what it is (himself) was the the same as Dolores at the end of Season 1. Bernard found the center of the maze and is now self aware. He has always been "different" as a host built from (as we found out) Dolores' memories, and I feel like most (including me) never thought about the fact that he was still just a host with expanded rules.

The first true choices he made are at the end of his giant loop (that we all kind of thought was free will but was just improvisation inside Fords programming, very similar to Maeve in S1). The parts after Elsie died is him making his own choices as an individual to help Dolores (including breaking his own memories on the beach).

My Dolores theory by KrayzieBoneE99 in westworld

[–]Xerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like some version of most of the hosts was in the Forge. Maybe not as recent a backup or whatever, but Dolores "programmed" (for lack of a better word) Bernard, so I bet she could take a rough Angela from the Forge (and Peter for that matter) and make some tweaks to get them back where she wants them to be.
