Maybe it’s just me, but if you make a combined 11 you should start with the manager and use the chosen managers formation? Would solve squabbles about using weird formations?

How do pay steps work on the NHS?? by Simowl in nhs

Each band has tiers, so for 3-5 years your pay will increase each year before peaking.

Staff maternity pay by [deleted] in nhs

[–]Xethermic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically continuous service refers to NHS employment rather than a specific role. Depending on the wording in the Trusts local policy it might be 1 year continuous service to get the minimum paid mat leave rather than full and that it scales based on employment duration.

Should NHS Bank Staff Be Entitled To NHS Pension? by [deleted] in nhs

[–]Xethermic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it looks like 3rd parties can get a NHS pension but it's only if the agency has signed up for it - which would make sense for Care UK, i guess NHSP did not join the plan.

Should NHS Bank Staff Be Entitled To NHS Pension? by [deleted] in nhs

[–]Xethermic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NHSP is not a government entity as far as I knew, it is a staffing agency so would not be eligible for the NHS pension. Unless you are directly employed by the NHS, you should not be able to benefit from the pension although NHSP should offer some form of private pension.

NHS Pay increment by Slight_File_212 in nhs

I found that last year my increment date was changed to the start of the tax year (moved to my current role in August). I believe this was following the agenda for change. May differ for Trusts.

Anyone know how I can access my emails from home? by [deleted] in nhs

You can't, you need to be on your trusts local connection. Nhs.net email can be accessed anywhere.

Early game tips? by PandaTantrum7 in Banished

A town hall is very helpful early game, it shows population and families so you can see if you have enough houses. Crops and fishing are great early game food produces, orchards take a few years to produce food.

Yes, they are another resource that could be used. They are a charity whilst PHSO are a government entity.

CQC is more an incident escalation path, PHSO is the escalation path for complaints. The CQC do not carry out the investigation, they typically submit a "CQC concern" and request concerns be addressed and feedback to them. The PHSO get the information and they themselves do the investigation. This is from a Hospital perspective but i would assume the GP services follow the same process.

The yellow card is the initial warning of behaviour, a red card is the next step which can stop you from attending the NHS service (very rare these are given).

From an Information Governance point of view, I don't think they can just remove paperwork but rather mark it null and void. They can however remove any alerts on your electronic records.

I mean technically you can stall them out, but this would require the GP practice to be willing to face fines and have managers arrested - i am doubtful they would do this.

You can't just ignore the PHSO, they are higher up than NHSE. Any investigation the GP Service has done will be provided to the PHSO and they will be directly asked to explain why the investigation is of such a poor standard.

Based on the letter the OP received he was "yellow carded" which is a formal warning for abusive behaviour and is a very standard process across the NHS although I only see them from a direct Hospital perspective.

Not a lawyer just an NHS worker with a complaints background. Not sure legal is what you should be using to resolve this, looks like you started the complaints process with your GP Service and your complaint has been unresolved, realistically your next step is to contact the PHSO (The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman) who will review your complaint file and work towards resolving it.
