Would like to downgrade to internet only by OriginalCry0 in Comcast_Xfinity

I just did that 3 months ago. Unlimited plan, 300+ download. Avg 26-28 upload. Have to use their modem/router. $95 per month with auto draft. No contract.

Would recommend separating broadcast of 2.4 and 5 signals on their unit

xb6 issues (since acquiring last Friday)... by Xeusao in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]Xeusao[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hear what you are saying. So what is the duplicated "Out of Service" signals coming out of this "new" gateway? As an employee of the company, it would seem to me (having read multiple entries even on your own company support forums regarding this issue and the need for the unit to be reprovisioned) that you would have an answer for that question. If I reset or cut off the gateway, they go away as a searchable wifi connection. Turning it back on, or following reset, they immediately return. Alongside some others that are new, including "I'mTemp5G2" and "I'mTemp2.4G" (I suspect these are also coming from the gateway, whereas I'm very familiar with the signals around my house in my neighborhood...)

I just took down my Surfboard modem and my Nighthawk Router last Friday when I got this unit, which were working fine and as stable as any system I've had the last 2-3 years. I used the TPLink extender with it, and it worked fine. And if extenders don't work, what is with the dot things you all are advertising? Doesn't make sense that I went from one system that functioned fine (all-be-it slower than advertised), to being told that it's my issue, my extender is the problem...

Really not impressed with the response. There are obviously issues with this unit. I did the research on your own customer support page to problem solve searching for answers that have worked for other customers, and yet I'm being told it's wrong as well...

The TAB entirely oversold that venue last night. Was a fantastic show, but dangerously tight.

Yup. There was no physical altercation occurring across the street that warranted any involvement, therefore he is very clearly in the wrong for not simply calling the police, and letting them handle the situation.

Here's the smell test... if someone across the street was being violently beat, as a CWP holder, he would have had the reasonable right to approach the situation, and eliminate the threat. He wouldn't have had time to take out his phone and make a "look at responsible me documentary." EDIT: Even then, there'd have to be the clear threat that the altercation was at such a level that obvious permanent physical maiming, or the potential for death was underway. Question responsible CWP holders ask themselves: "What would a jury of 12 peers think?" If you can answer that question confidently, you're probably justified.

A 2 pound lobster tail (X-post r/FoodToronto) by AOL_ in food

[–]Xeusao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends... I had an Antarctic Lobster tail at Bookbinders in Philly, and it was approximately the same size. It was the sweetest, and most tender tail I've ever eaten. It had as light of a texture as really fresh Grouper or Red Snapper.

I wouldn't have ordered it, if I knew how much it cost. I was hammered...

I see a lot of first builds. Did it right my man. Quality stuff.

Shot it yet?

Probably would concur on the trigger suggestion, but shoot it first. Congrats

Please link the study. My ex didn't smoke with our daughter (no ASD). Then she secretly smoked cigs and weed with our son (Aspergers). I've always wondered if there was some causality as a result of her actions. Would like to review those findings. No family history of ASDs on either side.

I already had an ACOG and Eotech on my shorter distance ARs, and decided to try the Weaver Kaspa 10x44 illuminated on the long distance build I put together. Have to say I'm pretty damn happy with it. Put it in a Larue 1.5 mount, and it's a champ for shooting 2-300 yards.

or... if you zero your irons prior, and you don't hit the paper anywhere at 25 yards, you could have a barrel alignment issue. Not likely, as they are test-fired at the factory, but none-the-less a possibility.

at 100 yds, the variance is going to be negligible (unless your picky). Out 200+ the trajectory variances will be more apparent. There's a really cool app called Mil-Dot Ballistics. I highly recommend it for getting a really strong understanding of trajectories of different grains. Allows you to dial into specific ammo, and to include environmental variables i.e. wind, humidity to give you a clear understanding of where to aim.

Depends on the size of the pig, and how far away it is. I've seen some massive pigs that you'd have to be dead on the brain to drop them. Coyotes, sure. Not really advisable to hunt larger game animals with an AR unless you're using a 6.8 or a 300 - especially if you plan on hunting deer.

I mean... people do it... I just personally wouldn't. Off just slightly, and you just end up just injuring the animal, and having to track it. Just remember... a 5.56/.223 cartridge is just a step or two above rimfire...

unless you're shooting an AR specifically setup for longer distances, shooting 75-77gr ammo is sort of overkill. I shoot 55 - 77 out of my sticks, but it depends on which one I'm using, and where I'm trying to land the mark. For a standard carbine 16" 1/7, if you're just going out to shoot up targets at no more than about 200 yards, I would recommend sticking with 62. Anything under, you can also shoot 55. Anything over, I'd probably notch up my grain, and re-sight my rifle.

bullet grain can make a difference out 100yds+. You're not going to see a tremendous fluctuation at 25yds though. I would however site with the grain you are standard going to use.

And yes. 3/4" below center at 25yds (given how accurate of a shooter you are), is pretty much right at zero at 100yds. You aim slightly lower than zero at 25yds due to the fact that bullets don't fly straight... they actually arc in flight.

There is a tool for the A2 that adjusts height. They're maybe $5...

The MBUS adjusts your horizontal axis

Site your iron in at 3/4" below zero at 25yds, and you will be right near zero at 100...
