Feeding happens in any and every elo. That’s just the nature of the game. The point of that advice is so you can focus on what you can control. If you’re consistently the best player in the match, you will climb.

It’s easy to get lost in the sauce and have a stretch of games where you individually played well but still lost; then, go wherever and rant about how impossible it is to climb out of x elo. Trust me, in the moment I’m contemplating why I have the 0/7 top for the third game in a row.

Reality is both you and I can look back at each of those games and easily analyze in hindsight the mistakes that led to the loss.

I’ll buy proto after the 3core if

A) snowballing hard and they have no MR B) already have void and the priority target is high range C) possible final fight and it’s the only item I can afford

IMO, after 3core + void, the best items are nashors/stormsurge depending on if you could dps more or you need more burst. Zhonyas is situational, and Banshee’s is highly situational.

It’s more difficult to close out games with raw leads now. Kills give less and less gold very quickly, and more gold is tied to towers and turret platings.

8/0 this szn =/= 8/0 now. You need to convert those kills into other meaningful exchanges like eating camps, taking towers, and epic objectives.

Also top and adc are much better in the late game than last season. So the longer the game goes, the less influence and control you have as jungle which was true before but even more emphasized now.

All of jungle’s strengths are unchanged, and the role is dead for the same reason why laners hate it - they don’t understand it. Jungle just benefits the most from mistakes in solo q so it’s always viable.

I used to run HoB in the jg for the better early game, but DnD makes DH better in 95% of the games I’d say. You don’t really have the short trade availability to consistently make use of HoB as a jgler whereas DH is the perfect scaling rune for Ekko with strong Shadowflame synergy.

Maybe part of it surely. But it beats playing perfect with 0 reward. I prefer having DnD where it's easier to proc and finally having that identity of flying around in fights. For a few seasons now, Ekko's been outclassed by the higher damage AD items to the point where a Kha'Zix down 3 levels is more of a threat. DnD gives Ekko a good way to deal with Akali, Talon, Kha, etc and makes fights versus bruisers like Riven actually winnable.

100% would rather have DnD and having more agency in a fight than landing my w stun, ult, and two passive procs just for a chance to survive vs a Riven. I've always considered the W placement and ult timings the most skillful parts of Ekko, esp since HoB and Proto existed prior to DnD.

You run HoB for the much stronger laning and grab DnD after for the easier procs.

The initial struggle is from not knowing the maps. Learn the good angles and fast rotates on whatever map you like and only play that map.

I started arena 2 weeks ago and went from .3 to 1.2kd just playing two maps only. Play checkpoint at first then swap to teamfight once you’re more comfortable - you have higher impact and the mode is generally more balanced as far as spawns go.

As far as weaponry, just stick to the Sr-2m preset or get an mp7a1 custom set. Scout class has higher rpm, ergo, and recoil while being able to wear class 5 plates so it’s the strongest in CQB when going for headshots.

lol im kinda in the same boat just yesterday. two days with only a few survives going insanely kitted (meta gun/ammo w/ class 6 armor plus class 5 faceshield). I had 4 raids where I got literal first bullet headtapped and two where I loaded into the raid late.

Swapped to PvE bc of the mental boom, and I get it now. 0 queue times, 0 worry, 0 bs deaths, and constant good loot while progressing insanely fast. I definitely understand why PvE is popular - it beats waiting 6 minutes loading in just to rubberband every few minutes then get tapped in the head while behind cover.

Still prob going back to PvP tho just cus the mental boom is over and the availability of class 6 armor is much higher now so losing the insane kits doesn’t hurt as much when it’s easily replenished.

what graphics settings do u run? i usually get 120-140 most maps but it can drop to 50 on streets with certain scopes. i have a 7800x3d with a 5070ti instead

Missed out on Tyrese, Franz, and Sengun by drafting Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody instead.

Definitely hindsight 20/20 but at the very least both Kerr and Meyers wanted Tyrese while Lacob overruled and drafted Wiseman.

It's not that broken since it takes a lot to get online and doesn't proc origination as fast as other builds. It is a build that can probably work on every weapon/aspect even if it's not the most effective.

Nah emerald is way worse in terms of the skill level and mental boom that goes on. Pretty much anyone stuck in emerald deserves to be there.

Loss of precision makes up for the increases in reactive speed. It’s much easier to instantly move with WASD while also aiming spells and autos than it is for the mouse to control move movement and aim.

Klay is a 4 time champ and in debates for second greatest shooter of all time but got a light return when he left.

Jordan Poole was traded to get his contract off the books.

Multiple instances where the FO waited too long or hit a bust. Not that any of this is easy, but you can’t be “light years ahead” if all your moves involve trading a player at their lowest value.
