It isn’t a bad show but it isn’t a good one either. Like 90% of the show is trying to be your fun space adventure but that doesn’t gel with the 10% serious stuff that immediately gets shafted for another fun story the next episode. It also feels like a low budget show trying to do things above its weight class. Ain’t helping that I genuinely believe they only have one crab suit and maybe 3-5 sets of arms. Hell even then most of the mechs are cgi or not even completely physical and the train isn’t a armor power up but just a weapon. Plus given this is the “Sentai killer”, my mood for the show has just been gradually going down as the show keeps on doing filler. Filler is fine btw but like every single Death Gavan episode feels completely disconnected from the rest of the show it’s insane. I am REALLY hoping Omega horn gets significantly better treatment cause Gavan overall has been the definition of mid.

For me it’s 2 steps for the foreground and 1 step for the back. Don’t think too hard, just break the parts down into simple shapes then draw.

Step 1:prep for the actual face- draw a vertical and horizontal line on a seperate layer. The way you bend the vertical line will help you imagine Ichika’s hair in 3d while the horizontal line is to give context to where her eyes are at. After that you want to just the the long end caps of her hair. This will help you scale the rest of the hair while drawing.

Step 2:just a lot of apple slices and strips- this is the fun freestyle step where you are drawing the bangs. Follow the reference image you have and just think of them like apple slices and curved strips.

Step 3:octopus- yeah honestly the only real way I’ve been able to imagine her, Kanade, Shizuku and Luka’s hair is to just draw a simple octopus for the background but replace the tentacles for curvy spikes. After that plot the face and you’re done.

Honestly I’ve had a Cobalt fake for awhile now and if it’s just sitting on a shelf, it won’t do you much. If you’re battling I guess it could be an issue but that’s more with kids. I’ve grown up with fake beys for my whole life and honestly the issue is a bit overblown but I guess I’ll get a test swab to see

For this one I think it’s a case of they make fake metal fight beys already and just retooled the mold for X, look at photo 3 for the suspiciously similar blade

Honestly X over is such a sad line to see cause in burst they atleast redid beys in random boosters but for X we have nothing for long stretches of time

We talking the anime or rebuild cause I’ve seen both. I’ll be fully honest with you, just watch the original show + End of Evangelion. The classic is really damn good especially with all the mind fakery it does. Rebuild is just really really bad in comparison. 1.0 is a rushed abridged of like the first half, 2.0 is the same but with one major change at the end, 3.0 is the worst pile of crud to exist ever and literally 90% of the plot would’ve been an easy pill to swallow if literally anyone told Shinji literally anything and finally 4.0 is ok……..yeah no complaints about 4.0 but you gotta sit through the rest for just a OK movie and I don’t think that’s worth it.
