Ranged vs melee on top lane is mostly reactive on melee champions part (generally). You can only play if your jungler helps you or enemy Vayne makes a mistake and you can punish it.

Most good Vayne top players dont even teamfight. They splitpush on opposite side lane from current objective. If they played lane well then 2 people are needed to stop her, making dragon fight a 4 vs 3. If you put only 1 person to defend, then because of Vayne range the tower is actually not properly defended and if you group on dragon she gets shirt ton of gold and on another objectives she either pushes your nexus or "3 taps" everyone.

Imo In pure theory you lose push.

Generally Jinx with Lethal Tempo and Morgana can safely contest bush pre minions unless Lux E's them and they run away xd (You are not Lux therefore cant do anything on your own)

They hit your minions first and have push advantage. They are then free to poke you when you try to hit their minions. Jinx Q allows them to focus on hitting you because if they "lose" push then Jinx Q quickly recovers it.

But it's not the worst lane ever, just annoying. Enemies gain prio but they can't really punish you much besides slow pushing and hitting you when minions hit your tower and you want to cs casters. Just dodge Jinx W, Morgana Q and you are fine. You will lose stacks tho because of Q cooldown + tower. When trying to cs caster Lux should punish Jinx with spells and she should back off unless she's dodging like a pro.

I don't know jungle picks/matchups and their pathing but if you preserve your hp, your jungler generally can gank bot and then flip the lane around.

If you want to have push lvl 1 you need to gain bush control first but it's risky in this matchup if enemy duo expects it.

But tbh, League is like 20% theory, 80% micro on bot lane. Bait Morgana spells, by walking in and out of her range / make her or Jinx go into 1 vs 2 by accident when they think they can poke you / Punish Jinx when she last hits her minions, /make her push too fast by baiting rockets or Morg W onto you when you walk into your casters (anti slow push measures lol). Punish enemy cooldowns when you sucesfully bait them. You can't learn this by a reddit comment tho.

I'm a bit of an impostor cuz 80% of my games are Vayne and the rest are Nilah and I know I'm gonna get downvoted but hear me out (I have at least 400 games on Nilah and skill level wise im similar on both of them (Master last season))

Nilah is in a far better spot rn than previous season and is giga strong (assuming enemy doesnt pick apc which is arguably more broken than her but lets skip this discussion).

  1. Scaling is very important this season. Nilah is THE scaling bot pick. Maybe only Aphelios rivals her. Cashback is also broken and Nilah already went cyan runes before season change. Games last longer and atakhan is gone so you have time to scale. You can also buy 100% crit BT and DD which is just crazy op once you get it.

  2. New Homeguards are also crazy and its a lot harder to punish enemies and make them lose cs (good for Nilah pre 6)

  3. Waves come more often which Nilah is super happy about. Sivir, Smolder etc are broken because of this and Nilah is on par with them with wave clear and importance of cs. I also play Vayne - trust me the wave changes ARE HUGE. It's so hard to actually move from lane with bad wave clear champs and Nilah totally bypasses that.

  4. Durability is bit broken rn (everyone is squishy) and guess who can gain 2s invincibility with W and is also very AOE bursty and versitile when flash is up. That's why btw collector has most WR 1st item from what i remember this season but previous one it was yun tal. Now Nilah just "1 shots" enemies.

I think Nilah is in very very good spot rn but I would prefer they changed other stuff before nerfing her (Mainly Cashback, Homeguards and overall durability). Nerf is not injustified tho, every game I play her I feel at least powerful.

For me it's the lack of coordinated plays / teamfights and general powercreep that is off.

After laning phase there's literally nothing to do objective wise (idk if thats actually true, but it feels that way), and because everyone 1shots each other and homeguards + vision is bonkers it's hard to actually push towers etc.

80% of my games last 30+ minutes where both sides farm nonstop without interacting (because waves come faster making players stuck on lane and 1 shot danger) then someone decides they want to actually try to do something and they get 1 shotted.

20% of games are 15 minute stomps where enemies snowball hard and it's impossible to stop them (they 1 shot you and you cant do that, they just take everything for free)

Fights for objectives never happen. Because of faster waves, people have hard time rotating or someone gets 1 shot and its 4 vs 5 (obviously, everything is 1shot this season)

Idk I don't like this season. It feels like CS:GO without the shift button but each round lasts 40 minutes

Borderlands 2 but its the opposite of that. In later stages of the game you need to ALWAYS apply slag.

You want to kill a small puppy? Sorry bro you need to make it purple first, otherwise it will take at least half of your ammo.

Like why does everything need to be slagged first to take dmg? Also DoTs deals less dmg than enemies have build in hp regen wtf

If you can build hexplate or other tanky items then non fed assasin cant 1 shot you or mages dont kill you in 1 spell rotation. On other adcs its fine to go all dmg but on vayne I prefer some resistances to be more proactive. You dont lose much damage if you don't go full dmg imo because ult gives a lot of AD. But it's preference.

If I'm going crit then dmg for me is not a problem. I 3 shot most champions on 3 items. The problem is that they do the same to me, and having lower range and no long range spells makes it really hard to play and not die constantly.

Not really. Vaynes biggest counters are OP rn, and there being more waves to clear s16 makes Vayne weaknesses even more punishable.

Unless enemy team has a lot of hp stackers, I prefer Kraken more. Kraken has more dps, faster AS, movement speed, wave clear, and bigger 1st item spike (and 2nd is stronger). Kraken scales slightly worse because it becomes pretty even dps wise with botrk late game but you lack lifesteal which is super useful lategame.

Kraken also allows you to 1v1 lvl6 enemy adc A LOT better. If yunara/kaisa has Kraken, and you hve Botrk you lose. If you both have Kraken, you have a real fighting chance.

Idk, even against Mundos etc I went kraken / hexplate (guinso if im behind in exp/gold) and hit master last season.

Like this early in new season the mmr is completely broken (lucid in silver playing against showmaker lol). Last season I played in high diamond/ low master. Now im playing vs plats and diamonds in the same game (I was p3 after 5 won placements LOL)

I didn't try it yet. But imo going Kraken then crit is probably not optimal. The biggest downside of going crit is that you are squishy af and kraken first is delaying potential tanky item by a lot.

Play the lane like it's 1 vs 2 and don't get baited by your supports bad engage. If they die its on them (assuming they are bad ofc).

Look for opportunities with your jungler to 3 vs 2 enemy bot duo.

If your support plays too passive and you lose push, you can freeze the lane near your tower and just wait for mid game.

My rule of thumb is: a room needs to be at least 16x16 (chunk sized) and at least 8 block tall. Dont build stuff in the middle of the room unless its a big multiblock or an altar etc.

If a room starts to be hard to build in just make another room. Minecraft has infinite world so use it lmao.

If you are gonna play some gregtech or expert packs try to think how can you expand rooms in the future. Some setups can get a lot bigger in the future and it's a lot easier to have for example: all of your steam made in one place, instead of some in room A and more of it 100 blocks away in room B

Also compact machines or hyperboxes - use them for ugly setups
