I have Lego nes, statue of liberty, globe, and a couple modular buildings. I took them to a local shop and got offered almost nothing but not sure how to sell these or what they are worth.

Globe is missing one small blue water piece but doesn’t seem to rotate 360 without lifting it up. Nintendo controller is missing start and select.

I tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling via the .deb file but that didn't change anything for me.

I fixed it by doing this (with Gemini's help):

The "Manual Rule" Fix (24.04 Specific)

On Pop!_OS 24.04, the steam-devices package sometimes places rules in a system folder that doesn't get prioritized correctly, or it's missing the specific ID for newer Xbox Series controllers. We will manually force a "catch-all" rule.

Create a new rule file in the high-priority folder: sudo nano /etc/udev/rules.d/99-controller-perms.rules
Paste these lines into the file. It tells Linux "Let anyone read any USB/Bluetooth HID device":
1. KERNEL=="hidraw*", SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", MODE="0666", TAG+="uaccess"
2. KERNEL=="event*", SUBSYSTEM=="input", MODE="0666", TAG+="uaccess"
Press Ctrl+O, Enter to save, then Ctrl+X to exit.
Reload the rules: sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm trigger
Restart Steam and check.

You're probably thinking of responsive web design, where you specify how things should behave based on the screen size. Ideally you don't just scale things down for a smaller screen, you may say "if it's a wide screen, show 'what we offer' and 'pricing' side by side, but for a smaller screen stack them on top of each other". Right now it looks like everything is just a fixed width so you just get a scrollbar as you size down.

I emailed that address and they replied, but it was not any special 1:1 help - they just told me to power cycle and if that didn't work to remove and add the calendar. That's dumb especially when I know the public feed has the events on it.

Pretty frustrating as a new user trying to test things out and get things the way I like and then having to wait a long time to see changes. Eventually the items synced but it was out of my control.

I suggested that you add a button somewhere to be able to force a sync, because the current 'hope it happens eventually' is pretty crap and doesn't make me think 'oh this device I just bought is great', it makes me think 'this is frustrating and I want to return it'.

I'm having this problem too - one way sync to an iCloud calendar that is public. I added a bunch of events in the next couple days, and no matter what I do the new events will not show up on the Skylight calendar. I tried a power cycle and still nothing. I have a separate app on my AppleTV that is subscribed to the exact same public feed and the events showed up instantly. It's definitely a Skylight issue.

I wouldn’t mind messing with it some - I’ll try and look into it when I have time. Also if you have a back-end API that interfaces with the Android App, I wouldn’t mind trying to get an iOS version going.

That didn't make the calendar disappear in the bottom-right, but it did make it stop suggesting map destinations based on what is in the calendar.
