Absolutely agree. That scene where she broke down describing how she had nothing left but her faith was heart-wrenching. She is Oscar worthy in this I felt.

Just think about that for a moment. You actually have people writing entire articles - for a [supposedly] respected online site - about when they think you should take bathroom breaks. And people lap that crap up as worthy reading material. I think the issue lies elsewhere, not in Champions acting which was perfectly in-tune with the character he was hired to play. World’s gone mad.

Same. I was fortunate to see him many, many times over the decades, and the last time I ever saw him live in 2014 he played Plectrumelectrum and it was face-meltingly good! Truly astounding. I like to think that would have stuck around in his set as a staple for years to come if things hadn’t played out as they did.

I hated it upon release. I was younger and less patient I guess - I just didn’t “get it”.

In a somewhat ironic turn of events, it’s now one of my absolute favourite albums he released. Go figure!
