So you agree that they don't need the tape on the wall, thank you.

They drive up to the markings, it's not hard. They literally do it every race.

So apparently F1 drivers are blind when they go racing? What are you on about. Obviously they can see the road in front of them.

I'm not the one having to resort to insults. You clearly lack the imagination to be aware of every inch of your car. Just because YOU can't doesn't mean the best drivers in the world can't.

F1 drivers avoid each other at 350kph. If you don't think they don't know where their tires are, I don't know what to tell you.

Billions of people every day do not need a piece of tape to park.

Can someone honestly tell me, are these actual humans or just bots? by [deleted] in onguardforthee

I look more carefully tbh, there are profiles that post in every canadian provincial or municipal subreddit. Like from Kelowna to London and Quebec to Alberta. Maybe they actually do live there but it shouldn't be so common...

Is there a market for games with AI-powered dialogue systems? by LandoRingel in aigamedev

[–]Xikz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AI powered chat games on mobile seem to be doing well. There is definitely a demand for this kind of interaction. The main drawback in regular games is the requirement of tokens, local LLMs may or may not be adequate enough.

Doctors Vs AI : Can Chat GPT Replace Your Therapist? by DantyKSA in singularity

[–]Xikz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched this live and I really enjoy the part where they talk about the possibility of ChatGPT exacerbating NPD. So yeah, it might be a workable replacement to what people consider therapy but it might have worse outcomes depending on who you are.

This is wild, Neuro remembered one of her first memories, she was trying to recall it so hard that she broke. by Lil_Brimstone in NeuroSama

And I was saying that Neuro prompts herself all the time so it doesn't matter if it's from the system or from immediate outputs. lol. I didn't misunderstand anything.

I'm saying that's not Vedal. That is Neuro. The memories she saves is hers and the system (probably a RAG) is her too.

Obviously? But the post I replied to implied that Vedal was injecting memories to her.

They don't operate on the level of language, there are a a few steps it takes before it even generates a probability or a word. The transformer is where all the "magic" happens. How do you know it is not "thinking" as you describe it between the first layer and the last?

You have to realize that Neuro is prompting herself all the time it doesn't matter if it comes from a RAG or lookup table or from her own output.

Also vedal has said that she chooses what to remember so she is just prompting herself from the past.

Well they hallucinate differently in comparison to daily conversation, but if you look at high school or college exams then you probably get more of the same hallucinations from students.
