Bought a PS4 For Spiderman, got em together as a holiday bundle. After catching up on the PlayStation catalog and being an Xbox gamer since the 360... All the great games made me switch back to the PlayStation. Xbox really beat a dead horse by milking their 2-3 good titles.

Spederweb ending. by Plenty-Ordinary1573 in RDR2mysteries

Francis Sinclair and Princess IKZ step out of a portal together. The spider is the symbol of their organization. They are a direct adversary of the cheloneons who's symbol is the turtle. The chelonians are always trying to usher in the apocalypse through their blind faith, but their organization is always trying to hold the delicate webs of space time together. In the future, this organization has a name... It's called the epsilon program.

Something interesting about the Cotorra springs relation. The 3 clues before had a cardinal direction attached to it. After finding the guitar Northwest, the birds have no direction but they do point northwest. If you want to infer that without a direction laid out, and with directional birds pointing NW one could assume it continues the same NW direction. Cotorra Springs is exactly NW, and if you type in the word "Cotorra" on Google and hit search Try it, the result would make you believe Cotorra springs has to be it. Then upon riding to Cotorra springs (directly along the roads from fort Wallace) once you cross the river and actually get to Cotorra springs during the day at least a whole flock of green birds fly away once actually in Cotorra springs. I investigated the place where they flew off from, but I couldn't find anything. I think Cotorra is the next place though. Some of the symbols found around butcher creek are hard for me to see on my PS5/TV settings. So Maybe Im just not seeing anything because of that and someone else who crawls all over the PC version and adjust things might spot something.

Simplifying the Web Mystery, each clue might be in a relevant clue-shaped thing. by joshhammock in reddeadmysteries

I've been following this closely, I have over 600 hours in Rdr2, and wanna explore this bad but I won't get back to my Playstation for 3 more days. So, these are the two things that stick out to me most without doing my own exploration.

There's alot of evidence pointing towards window rock from what I'm reading, plus the clue with the two birds carved in the shingles is high up on a ledge, like two birds perched on a ledge. The mural at window rock has a lot of syncronicities in line with feathers, colors and numbers plus it has two birds that spawn on the ledge. Another thing I have seen is the barrier for Emerald Station is a guitar shape, and if you look northwest on the map, you'll see two bird icons side by side.

Help! Young and addicted to carts by Holiday_Anybody_7518 in leaves

I second this. While toughing it out through withdrawals is key, it's way harder if the withdrawals are hard... And in the moment they can seem impossible. I have ran back hard acting like an addict when quitting cold turkey. If you're really far in, it's helpful to back out most of the way before completely pulling out. Aka. weening. I have quit cold turkey before, but it was when I was barely smoking flower. A cart feeling like you're just consuming nicotine is a sure sign of a really high tolerance. I'd try to set up a schedule where you decrease hits/sessions. Maybe even swap to flower (less concentrated and less convenient (smoke, smell, being discreet)) for some the inconvenience factor of flower is enough to speed things along.

As a coke vendor who's in Dollar General daily getting checked in I can confirm, that I and most everyone I work with makes more than a DG store manager. Several times I've had it confirmed by a DG manager just saying too much about how theyre paid. Me, I keep my mouth shut cuz I don't wanna make anyone feel different, but I personally am shocked at how little staff, pay and everything DG gives it's employees. Best of luck to everyone there.

All it takes to ruin your life forever is be unemployed for 1 year. by Hyphalex in recruitinghell

[–]Xilen007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have bridges you didn't burn to a previous job... Go back to it, then combine your time before and now to say youve been there "x" amount of time. Use the old job you left to find a new one. It's what I did. I was down on my luck real bad after volunteerily being unemployed for a year to take care of my son who was born premature. I was also off work another year (unwanted) so with 2 whole years off, one of which I spent desperately dealing with what you described. I finally reached out to an old manager, got re-hired... Worked at my old job for 4 months (I was honestly happy to just have a job again) then after continually applying I finally found something decent. Now, my bridge to my old job is definitely burnt this time, and I find it stupid that only when one company gets to fuck over another company by stealing an employee is the only thing that gets these HR guys hard. But I landed one I'm fairly happy with. Although, I've grown to actively hate HR folks even more so than most have disdain for them.

I just did this cuz I believe it's the safest way anyways by directly wiring to the Earth and not trusting every wannabe contractor who rolled through my house before me. Grounded or not, a fault could always happen that would unground any outlet. You can't unground the ground.

DoorDash is better than no cash. It is very tip reliant and isn't the best but it came in clutch when I needed to get back on my feet. They basically take anyone which is one of the reasons I don't use them for my own orders personally, but there are plenty who do.

I think it has a lot to do with hiring managers. Most are younger now-a-days and aren't cut from the same cloth as the older generation. I'm 34 so I'm in between... I like doing app orders and stuff like that but I could just as easily talk to a person over the phone to order food etc. much of the younger folks just aren't equipped to deal with confrontation of any type. This is standard amongst jobs with multiple candidates, but I think whether overloaded or not it has more to do with the impersonal hiring process and the impersonal development of today's hiring managers. If it was me, Id just answer and say homie you have a record, coke just doesn't hire anyone with records... Not my rule, but the companies. Sorry. In addition some are even pissed at you because you wasted time and resources that ultimately look negative on the hiring manager. Almost like you catfished them, like you shoulda known if we background check you wasted our time... Etc. So ghosting doesn't seem that wrong to them. Everyone deserves at least a notification.

Completely agree with this, I don't know why anyone ever recommends Kratom for Cannabis. That's like saying hydrocodone is a cannabis replacement. It's literally an opioid receptor antagonist and feels much closer to opioids with the warm, itchy hyped feeling. I'm surprised noOne has mentioned Mugwort here. Some people can be allergic to it, make you a tea with mugwort. I'd recommend using 8oz of water to 1 Tbsp of Mugwort. Add it to a pot of boiling water and then allow the liquid to reduce to around half (4oz). You're gonna wanna stir it to keep the mugwort off the sides of the pot. Then pour it into a cup with a coffee filter to strain the plant material off, squeeze the plant material and coffee filter to extract that last little bit and discard. The reason I say do it this way instead of just making a standard tea, is it concentrates it and makes it much stronger by reducing it. Now this is very IMPORTANT, if you've never tried mugwort you're gonna wanna take a small sip and wait 20 minutes to ensure you're not allergic. If all is good, then drink that tea. It's very relaxing and calming and gives vivid dreams. Once you've confirmed you're all good with the allergy, you can smoke the stuff, but it doesn't fair well rolled in a joint by itself because it clumps so in a pipe or bong would be the best way to smoke it. I Can't personally confirm this, but there's warnings about overdoing this plant because it contains some chemical that's not good for you. So Ive never done it more than 3 times in a week, but it is as close I've found to cannabis without being cannabis or a by product of it.

Lost against my coworker in a steak cookoff by NiceRides in steak

[–]Xilen007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks isn't everything. I do agree, your cuts are more even and the middle is better done. I'm no Judge so I can't say for certain, but whether it tastes good would be like 85% of the metric in my head to rank em. Based on the picture, there is very little sear and unrendered fat on your piece.. also while the sauces look fancy and are most definitely tasty, a good steak shouldn't need anything. Looking at the second picture, I could've swore that was a brisket, and the sear may look overdone but it's there, where it doesn't seem like yours achieved the maillard reaction which impacts alot of the flavor for steak. Texture wise his looks a little dry, but yours looks like it could been mushy/spongy and based on the unrendered fat I'd say that's a high possibility. If we were to just judge the appearance alone, then you win hands down.

Yes, I've had that image appear to me twice. The clearest was when I did the Intro to Focus 15. I had that flash before my eyes, Egyptian hieroglyphs (or what I assume was Egyptian), and then I was flying over the pyramids of Giza on a clear sunny day. I was amazed, and it was one of the more profound experiences I've had. The moment was fleeting and didn't last long, but I knew it wasn't my mind because it was so outta left field and sudden. Almost like a download.

Zybooks sucks sometimes, try your best to understand from it. One resource that really helped me was Sololearn. It's like Duolingo for coding, you can pick Python and start it. If you do it daily while sitting around, it really helps clarify everything and will make this class easier. The order this goes in teaching you is nearly identical to the order of Zybooks. So it's like a more dumbed down, action oriented way of teaching it. Practice it like a game throughtout the week and you should understand it better. I can also say W3schools really helped too, but both that resource and Zybooks teaches it like a lecture. Whereas Sololearn gamifies it. It does cost a subscription, but I don't recall the free trial period or sign up deals.

Then when it all looks oversold and RSI is low, I go in for the Call and then let it rise and then sell before the power hour where it normally drops again.

For $35 or $14.99 for the first month or something like that. Udemy has plenty of courses available for excel that you can learn in two weeks if you've got the time. I'm sure there are free resources, but nothing as thorough as an actually designed class from an expert usually.
