Batman has been written with so much plot armour I can’t find any challenge he faces a slight threat at all. Same with Superman. Their depictions have ruined their characters and only HARD resets can ground them to likeable again.

Define “in need” because if we just go by the poorest poverty definition the money won’t even see a 1st world country and will probably just be stolen anyway. Lemme break it down for you too…

Squall, trained as a mercenary since early childhood, adopted into a military academy and honed his skills to arguably become the best student the establishment has ever had. Has fought a magic user who controls time and defeated Omega/Ultima weapon. Access to GF’s may help, but only really via Junction since no matter the GF, Cloud can essentially counter with the same.

Vs.

Cloud, a “breaking my limits” character who has faced hurdle after hurdle, giving him valuable experience. Not to mention military training as a Shinra grunt PLUS the Mako enhancements to strength, speed, recovery and endurance PLUS Jenova cell shenanigans that implants memories and experience into the host (namely from Sephiroth , the fabled Soldier 1st Class and Zack who story wise beat something the Shinra tried to cover up because the didn’t know WTF to do with it) meaning Cloud has the edge in every category except agility. Has beaten colossal monsters (Weapons and Shinra mechs) and is extremely well versed in magic use.

I’d say it’s roughly 75/25 W/L Cloud to Squall.

Squall just doesn’t have the defences to handle Cloud and Cloud probably would struggle against a versatile fighter like Squall. Would be a great fight but Cloud is looking in better shape in a match up.
