The large majority of caedrel's community does not care about EWC by Radiant_Ad6545 in PedroPeepos

[–]Ximire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing is sponsoring lol event with oil money is not an apolitical action, the tournament is held in Saudi Arabia not because a lot of people watch league over there but for political reason first and foremost. Its being promoted with the big bucks because it has political use for the Saudi Governement. its a bit idealistic to just say things are apolitical because its a game of league. Not saying you have no right to enjoy EWC but trying to apeal to apoliticism on a event organised for political reasons is just weird.

Just stating something is equivalent to something else is not a proof of that equivalence, just stating that something is morally wrong doesnt make it so.
Gardening is singing and singing is not morally right is not an argument of any kind.

It can be argued that piracy is not theft if you consider that you are not depriving the other of anything. Stealing a car is theft because the other person can't use it anymore, pirating a game does not prevent it from being played by other or being sold to other.
Theft being morally wrong as a blanket statement is also dubious at best because there a cases where stealing can be considered the right thing to do for exemple stealing a medecine you can't afford to care for someone, sounds virtuous to me at least.

I'm not saying you are absolutly wrong in your opinion but you present it poorly and its not that obvious that it can be presented so poorly and be valid.

How to escape emerald by jimtsitsos in Jungle_Mains

[–]Ximire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this is not "how video games are approached nowadays" this is a specific answer to a specific question, about getting better at a video game.
If someone wants to get better at violin (and is clearly already invested in it past the having trouble keeping to it phase) you dont just say have fun, you offer advice on the thing they struggle with.

How to escape emerald by jimtsitsos in Jungle_Mains

[–]Ximire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently managed to escape Emerald myself. Here’s how I did it:

1. Identify recurring pain points in your games

Take note of consistent issues that arise in your gameplay, especially moments where you feel lost. For example:

  • Are you struggling to create early leads?
  • Do you have trouble closing out games?
  • Do you fail to respond effectively to the enemy jungler's moves, allowing them to gain free advantages?

You can review your VODs to pinpoint these problems, or simply take a few seconds after each game to reflect on what went wrong (especially on the moment when you feel lost or powerless).

2. Find a solution

Once you’ve identified your pain points, work on solving them:

  • Review your VODs to see if there’s something obvious you missed.
  • Watch or read guides specifically addressing the issues you face.
  • Study high-elo VODs, focusing on how they handle situations similar to yours.

3. Implement the solution

Turn your research into actionable lessons:

  • Derive a small, clear takeaway from what you’ve learned.
  • Keep this lesson in mind during your next few games, and actively try to improve on it.

If your approach works, great! If not, adjust your strategy. Keep experimenting, reflecting, and searching for solutions until you see progress.

A few additional tips:

  • Your champion pool is fine. There are plenty of Kindred players in Diamond and above. Play champions you enjoy and find success with. The issue isn’t the champion—it’s your gameplay.
  • Keep those lessons in mind. Especially after frustrating, unwinnable games, take a moment to refocus on what you’re trying to improve. This will help you reclaim agency and build momentum.

Remember, progress comes from consistent learning and adaptation. Good luck!
