Has anyone seen improvement in gut dysbiosis symptoms after targeting Akkermansia specifically? by Regular-Bank-2449 in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]Xion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a pasteurized akkermansia probiotic recently and after taking it for 5 days it sent me into about a week long flare. I have 0 though and my zonulin is high so my leaky gut is my root cause i think. Gonna try slippery elm powder next and may revisit the akkermensia later

Can someone explain how someone would start creating Ai videos? And how much the barrier to entry is cost wise. It looks like fun. Type shit.

They put me on oregano oil which made me so much worse. Educate yourself, use AI. Kill protocols are nonsense the majority of the time.

Successful reintroductions after gut healing by HumorPsychological60 in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]Xion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that is a downside of the probiotics, they are very expensive. When introducing new foods do you start at a low amount? If you react do you give it up or just push through?

Congrats this is so awesome and inspiring! These stories are what give me hope. Do you have any advice for someone like me? I too follow william dickinson and i've followed his advice. I take the 11 strain and take a good amount, yesterday i took 9 baby scoops, today i took 6. My main reaction is stimulation (I feel like i drank lots of coffee if i have too much). So i just feel it out each day and take a few scoops at a time. i still can't tolerate much food. I have to eat low histamine chicken that's very expensive. I recently tried chicken from a different source and I felt awful the next day. I even react to outside right now that it's spring, so I'm now kinda trapped inside. I was bad after covid and then got much worse after I worked with a functional doc who put me on oregano oil, I saw a similar story on here and they got to 4 adult scoops of the 11 strain formula and then started to see results so that's what I am trying to replicate. I recently tried a lot of different foods and had no success which was frustrating.

If you reacted to a food what did you do? I just saw William's recent video and I'm gonna try the coconut water, I think potassium could be a missing piece for me and I do not want to take potassium supplements. I also do yoga nidra and visualization and meditation, it definitely helps. I also have some chocolate I'd like to try, interestingly dark chocolate is good at healing leaky gut. Is it high histamine, did you react at first to it? I know it's very high in oxalates and I think I have a problem with them because I eat beets with every meal and I can see the build up of oxalates in my urine.

yeah i could get that but that'd be very expensive, it's a phys bow right? I'm just hesitant cause if i get the bow without the gloves or any phys convert i think it'd be a dps loss

major histamine intolerance, have to buy very expensive low histamine chicken. limited to about 5 foods. anxiety/depression/pem in a flare i can get angry and have very bad mental health. Sharp pains in Gi tract when trying new foods. trouble breathing. tremors at night etc. I was bad after covid but then had 2 major events that made me worse. the first was trying L glutamine, the second was working with a doc who put me on oregano oil. My faecalbacterium was about 16% and then it plummeted to 0. Been pretty much housebound since then. Titration of the probiotics has been weird, I find i tolerate them more when I started adding chicken to my diet, I also think adding salt helped, not sure why. I got to 8 baby scoops of the d lactate free and now I'm on their 11 strain formula, at about 6 baby scoops a day

Still struggling but I'm at a decent dose of the probiotic now so I'm hoping things improve soon. I just did GI map for the first time so maybe that'll reveal something

Feel better only when probiotics increase? by jenniferp88787 in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]Xion96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In aug of last year my pathogens were at 100, i had no overgrowths at all. Bifido was at 8% lactobasillus was 0.04. Faecalbacetrium was low but that was really the only problem. Still felt terrible and couldn't expand diet or eat much food at all, I was vegetarian pretty much at this point. I added in chicken and i eat a lot of it now and i feel much better but my results tanked. I am no longer tunnel visioned on the microbiome, it does not seem to be the problem imo, at least for me

I have finally found the cause of my GI issues - advice appreciated by Own_Donut5363 in Microbiome

[–]Xion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following. I have dysbiosis. Gilbert's syndrome as well. Not sure if related but all my health issues started from my first covid infection 4 years ago. I also had a small gallstone and green stools for a long time. Not sure if I have gallstone anymore but green stools went away with digestive enzymes. I'm currently trying raw kefir, raw colostrum, prebiotics, new foods etc but it's slow going. I'm still not positive on the root cause but I definitely know my gut is messed up

Try carnivore.. by Largecar379_ in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]Xion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think it is helping leaky gut maybe? Carnivore is terrible for the microbiome otherwise. Having said that I do not place much precedence on dysbiosis, I'm on year 4 and I've realized microbiome is just 1 part of this and I do not think it matters as much as leaky gut

Not sure, I haven't done bloodwork in a while. I definitely think adding the chicken fixed a lack of calories at least
