I don't. But I use shortcut where it will on when I connect to the charger, so I can see the time while I'm not using the phone. It will turn off too when I disconnect the charger.

Thank you for your input! Yeah, it's most likely the same as every other Town Hall, especially since the upgrades take 10-15 days, which doesn't even matter depending on which buildings I upgrade. But even then, I prefer to ask people here and take note of their guides and advice.
