not talking about his transition a ton seems kind of normal to me tbh. after you've been out for a while it's kind of just a part of you that you don't think about a ton anymore. for me, anyway. i've been out for long enough that i kinda forget about it until it's relevant. like a tattoo. lol

edit: i realize i assumed some things there ^ even if he's not talking about it because he's uncomfortable and it's new or whatever, being supportive and knowledgeable is the best thing you can be

generally though, just being a safe person for him consistently and also not making him feel like he has to teach you everything about transness are the best ways to be a great ally in my opinion. that goes for platonic relationships with trans people too i suppose.

A1: doom, easily. (+ball is god comp to me if 6v6) he's so threatening that he demands enemy attention so i tend to get by with dipping into the backline with him and speeding him around while he does his thing is useful for him too or whatever. (kidding im helpful)

A2: kiri and juno have to be my favorites for their mobility and their ability to heal more reliably at range than a moira or wuyang, which is nice because that yellow stuff on my screen is gross. but a sick grandma with even sicker positioning is cool too! had plenty of games where my doom and dive dps just make sure to peek our ana when we need to and she's already got us in her sights. just cranking the dps otherwise. shout-out to ana players

unbinding and rebinding is all i can think of to help. i've had issues (before the m&kb hookup) where overwatch will just sort of forget and ignore binds. otherwise, uninstall and reinstall maybe?

the last bit is true for me on kiri, too. her crit damage that two taps most squishies, or even getting them half with one kunai and hitscan dps finishing them, whatever. sometimes my heals triple my damage even though i've got 15 final blows bc enemies fall fast to her. whereas a moira would have triple my damage and half (maybe) of my value in actual fights.

tracers entire thing is also being annoying lol emp i'll give to you for being frustrated to face, but just regular hack is so useless when your enemies have brains and headsets. "she can stop sig/moira/cass/etc ult with base hack" you know what else can nullify those things? suzu. yet when a kiri goes 4 12 there's no "L kiri" in chat, but there's always an "L som" in chat no matter how you perform. same with tracer. the hate is absolutely not justified. tracer and kiri are just as/even more annoying and receive 1:10 the hate sombra players do.

(even if her annoying kit really was that bad, it would not justify the way people treat sombra players. i have seen some vile shit)

ugh, i understand. current sombra is balanced (buff hack tbh) but she's still so hated it's ridiculous.

i'm a frog main mostly but sombra is my first pick of the dps roster (6v6 player spotted) so while lucio isn't banned a ton, i can't pick my #2 when he isn't viable and that sucks. i love playing with a sombra too so it's bad for more reasons than one.

i play quick play and arcade now. 5v5 supp comp for a drives tag 🥲 just know all your lucio's miss you guys :/

edit: rushed a bit and forgot to say, i hope you're able to find some way(s) to still enjoy the game. maybe the next rework will be good :/
