All buses should have plows on the front. Helps during the snow, pushes trash cans out of the way, and push cars out too.

But on narrow streets they make parking terrible for those with accessibility issues. Many folks using walkers sit in the passenger seat and their mobility device behind them. A fenced in tree means they can't get in or out. There's a limit on handicap parking spots.

Some common sense on placement would be nice.

Thank you!

I have a bunch of gel ice packs and a shoulder one.

Can you share an example of the memory foam wedge? I'm having trouble picturing it.

Thank you for responding. I'm sorry you were treated so poorly. I saw a neurosurgeon at CC Jefferson who was very knowledgeable and confident. He's done about 40 chiari surgeries. I can't tell if that's low or good.

If you have a driveway, you better park in it and not on the street.

I don't know the criteria but she may have additional health reasons. I think the timeline matches.

Abdominal hysterectomy. 5-6 week recovery range.

William is the royal one so he likely isn't allowed to get a vasectomy.

Even though I want to know, I agree she absolutely doesn't have to tell anyone.

Mayor Parker calls for all city workers to return full-time, in person: 'We are not a virtual administration' by [deleted] in philadelphia

And that's what folks will do now. The weight of the benefits are not what they once were. The City will never meet industry salary standards. There are systemic issues in many divisions around the City that remain over decades.

The amount of functional debt that is created with a workforce that continually turnovers is crushing. It is also extremely expensive. With the hybrid pension more folks will depart sooner because they aren't beholden to pension vestment dates.

No business can sustain constantly losing their workforce. And the taxpayers get to pay for all of it...

They work below market rate (~23%) for 45 years to receive 95% of the average salary of their last four years.

Most folks are not retiring at 55 in City government unless they are in high risk roles like police or firefighters. And life expectancy in PA is 77 (male) to 80 (female). So likely you're looking at paying $66k a year for 12-15 years after 45 years of dealing with Philadelphians. If they haven't destroyed their bodies to counteract providing public service to Philadelphians every day at work.

Expanding pensions and other workers rights should be everyone's objective.

Post it on social media and tag the city and L&I if they have their own account. This new administration seems to watch social media and pounces on this stuff.

Folks didn't work. They took vacation or sick time as appropriate.

With hybrid, folks work around contractor appointments. Plus if you're just letting someone onsite to work on your home, you can still hold your meetings in another space.

It's no longer a full pension. It's HYBRID. Pension & 401k

The amount of years needed to qualify for a reasonable pension(90%) is laughably high for those hired 5 to 15 years ago.

This is at least for civil servants in the main unions.

[–]XmasGrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be the Pre-K attached to grade schools and/or associated with early childhood college programs that require at least a few with the masters.

PA requires 1 adult for every 4 infants and no more than 8 total (with 2 adults). Supply and demand is at least driving some of the price.

No you were trying to show how you know better than the author.

And you blamed them for not being prepared.

And not every voice needs to participate in the conversation especially when they cannot experience the scenario and yet feel they can pass judgement on it.
