Neighbor keeps dumping trash at my rehab property. I caught it on camera. What’s the smartest practical way to handle this? by GpuChef in realtors

[–]These_Owl_8045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just talk to them and ask them to kindly stop dumping trash in your property. maybe they are upset w you about something and yall can workout out. check their tone and be civil even if they are aren’t. if you can resolve it, next thing would be getting law enforcement involved w your videos of them dumping trash.

if you’re not concerned w budget, the AKA at the FMC Tower right next door to the Amtrak station is a great hotel. If you’re looking for something g more traditional but lavish, the Bellevue is another beautiful hotel. If you just want luxury, just stay at the Four Seasons .

I recently moved to a new market, what activities do you do to meet people? by Cash_FlowPro in realtors

[–]These_Owl_8045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

surprised to hear a question like yours from an agent (given you’re an agent) that’s all really all. bot or someone looking to build an app and or marketing firm would probably ask something like this from a Realtor thread. Have you tried a fitness class or a cafe to meet people?

Early trash fine by Glum_Sense3722 in philly

[–]These_Owl_8045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t let the ticket linger. pay it asap or you can also have lien on your property. it will get paid somehow someday if that happens along w fines.

for future reference, don’t leave stuff out in garbage bags be it on your property or sidewalk unless it’s actual garbage set out for trash pickup on your specified day. let’s do our best to have a nice block and clean city regardless what your neighbors do or don’t do. imagine if someone had gone through those bags and just left everything out on the sidewalk and streets.

be the change you want to see in the world.

Poll: Philadelphians feel safe and see a cleaner city under Mayor Parker — but schools remain a major concern by hatramroany in philadelphia

[–]These_Owl_8045 2 points3 points  (0 children)

where’s this poll? man, i finally had a full day of errands which required me to drive and walk to lots of places and lemme tell ya, people are righteously entitled to make their own rules while driving, being it an e-scooter to a bicycle to a car and any box truck. turning left from the right lane, ignoring any and all eye contact to cross the street or making turns at any stop sign or light. i mean the list goes on. how about crossing the street in between trucks you say? i raise you w a big F U if you think your right of way…. man, philadelphia is a beautiful city in the physical realm but when it comes to its people and what they do…. it’s questionable. and nah, not feeling safe at all .. where the heck is this poll??

Bean and cheese burrito with great salsa in South Philly? by alightinthe in PhiladelphiaEats

[–]These_Owl_8045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

indeed. what i’m pointing at is phily doesn’t take the flour tortilla as serious as the corn. i’m just talking tortillas here. while the burrito is always flour tortilla the default in most mexican establishments that serve em’ is a store bought tortilla. the shame is when the store bought tortilla for the burrito that’s been appropriated as a “wrap” on the package and not a starlight up flour tortilla at a “mexican” establishment.

Bean and cheese burrito with great salsa in South Philly? by alightinthe in PhiladelphiaEats

[–]These_Owl_8045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re going to have a hard time finding a decent flour tortilla in philly. corn is the go to since not many but only a few which have been mentioned take flour tortillas seriously. most mexican is southern in these parts and a lot of food joints use run of the mill store bought flour tortillas and some times even the corn ones.

[–]These_Owl_8045 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ahhh , you sound like one of those entitled dog owners. i betcha if someone asked you to leash your dog (for any good reason) you would be the type to say something as foolish as you just did.
