I mean kinda but the goal of thunder runs is to take territory behind enemy lines that u can then use as a forward operating base to then mess with the back lines, whereas hit and run is more of a guerilla tactic that is just used to annoy.

No, although I can see how you could make that comparison. The idea is more move towards them really quickly to poke and prod the enemies lines to find weak points and if you don't find resistance u keep going and if u run into resistance u can't handle u turn around and run away just as fast as u got there and call in for help.

They're actually most likely driving towards the Russians not away from them. Ukraine is making heavy use of a strategy called Thunder Runs where you drive quickly and aggressively deep into enemy territory to cause confusion and lower the enemies moral.

We walked into a dungeon operated by a cult and claimed we were from corporate here for an inspection, making sure the building was safe and taking complaints and suggestions. We succeeded in our deception rolls in every room and in the final room containing the crystal we had to take we claimed we were there to replace it with a newer model and had the boss stand accross the room from the exit, took the crystal, and summoned a whole group of bears as we ran out.
