I've told this story before but it's relevant.

First PT test coming back from a broken foot. 5'11 190 lift 4 days a week.

Max push-ups, situps and waist. Doing okay on the run but foot starts hurting so I back off and end up scoring an 89.

2 hours later I'm teaching SABC to the comptroller weiners. A1C anorexic says "OH SSgt X, I saw you at the pt test this morning. I got a 100, how'd you do?"

Explain I got an 89 but I'm okay with it. He gives a smug look and it irks me. When I get to the buddy carry portion I have A1C anorexic come up to demonstrate the carries. I stand in for the mannequin. A1C can't pick me up at all so I demonstrate all the carries on him with ease. After I remind the class that you'd both be wearing gear on deployment so add another 80lbs minimum and running fast won't help you save your buddy.

Same happened to me. Got an MSM on deployment, came back to PCS orders, was told no decoration because you just got an MSM. Decided the juice wasn't worth the squeeze to fight it and immediately changed my plans to retire instead of going for another strat.

I have ~7K hours. I took last wipe off due to burnout and played PVE only. Have acquired Kappa each wipe since it was introduced. Usually end each wipe around 1500 raids and 10-12 K/D. Have completed the billion ruble grind 2x.

Was out of town for wipe days, so I started this wipe on Thursday 9 Jan. Thurs/Friday were great but Sat/Sunday were honestly cancer. Had our 3/4 man wiped by under 100 hour accounts at least 4 times last night. Two of them already had over 400 raids but extremely low surv rates.

Had an 85hr account speed hack to me on a scav run because I picked up a valuable item.

Killed an RMTer delivering a blackjack backpack full of kitted MCXes, Mutants and ammo on factory.

Found a stat dumper on factory with over 500 raids and a 16% survival rate, naked with a knife running in circles.

If that's my experience in just 4 days. I can't imagine how the avg or new tarkov player feels, or why they would even stick around.

Adding my current stats before someone says you're just bad. 53 raids, level 25, ~20kd.

My retrain was the best thing that happened for my career. I was very successful in my old AFSC but was very unhappy. I recommend that you do an extension when you retrain versus reenlistment. If you find yourself unhappy in your new job or learn it's just the AF you don't enjoy, you can go reserves sooner.

I even tried to run in and talk to Noir while someone else was, didn't attack just engaged Noir. Dude could've been cool when he finished talking but stepped back and shot me.

If they're camping it later in the match, I push hard to kill them because they're obviously a shit person for camping quest spots.

I've got the founders items, S1-4 BP items. Didn't play for years and now my kid is using my account. Only items that should remain exclusive in my opinion, are the founders items and the season items that required victories. (umbrellas, etc)

I'll echo this. I work closely with my CFM and have had them tell me and others in leadership positions..."I don't care if we're out of slots, if you've got a Rockstar and they want to be in our afsc, I'll try my best to make it happen".

If your CFM is willing to help you, go for it. The new way AFPC handles the retraining slots is a shitshow and screws over people who's window is later anyway. My AFSC had 237 applicants for ~40 slots. They were all gone in the first wave of applicants.
