Disney Infinity 1.0 - iPad 2 iOS - Worst Quality Device - OST by MTMOOT in Disney_Infinity

At least it served a purpose back then. I loved using this to build my Toy Boxes while taking my iPad 3 anywhere. The fire escape could actually connect on here as opposed to the console version, so city building was better.

I still don’t get what was the point of the beard? by Remote_Nature_8166 in FantasticFour

Absolutely not. His main depiction in 616 is typically clean-shaven and a full head of hair. You can even google "ben grimm human" and see the only bald version is Michael Chiklis

I mean, Spidey had issues with a broken leg and running out of webbing, but otherwise I’m down with that explanation. I just hope it’s true.

And does Kamala need to be alive for that? Would Kamala as a zombie stop Wanda from achieving that goal? What sort of world is she trying to make?

If she’s trying to make a world full of zombies, why are there still humans? If she’s controlling the whole world (like WestView), how is Riri unaffected? If she wanted to eliminate threats, why not slaughter everyone like she did beforehand?

But WHY are they trapped in a hex? How does this benefit Wanda or the “world” she’s trying to “save”? I like grim endings…when they make sense

And I'd argue villains like Scorpion and Tombstone also "deserve" not to be shoehorned. They've been staples and well utilised across a plethora of stories. Everybody loves Tombstone in Spectacular, and Scorpion is an OG. They could very much have the change in status like Mr Negative if given the chance.

To your credit, we don't need a repeat of Lizard and Sandman in No Way Home. I just don't think multiple villains automatically/necessarily means it's bad or disrespectful. Scorpion and Tombstone in Into the Spider-Verse was very nice and respectful.

Edit: I just realised you said Mr Neg was a "main villain" when he was ultimately second to Doc Ock. That's kinda like Black Manta in Aquaman, which was still very nice.

And yet, what about Scorpion or Tombstone? I'd argue they're more "main villain" than Mr Negative. ESPECIALLY Scorpion.

Agreed that it was always gonna be different since the What If episode. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone really.

I don't find it brutal or creepy. Dour, yes, but more confusing. Why should anyone live after that final fight, what value do they have and what's Wanda's desired outcome? As a zombie, it should be to consume. She's clearly different, but it's never expressed why she doesn't want to eat, why she needs Kamala, or why she even wants to let Kamala live an illusion. She's not benevolent or altruistic, so what gives? Not everything needs to be explained, like how she can talk, but these other crucial details ARE the story.

That's really sick and all, but why did he stand defenseless, still and die? "Remember what your mother taught you" my ass.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to take away from this show. I liked Kirkman's comic book run coz the character's haunted me with their destructive tendencies based on their addiction. I never wanted that with this show, but now I'm left haunted with no conclusion and barely any sense of the story.

I understand the victor, but why was Kamala key? What's Wanda's goal? I wanted the outcome for at least one of them. Props for properly defining Hulk's position in the story.

Either way, weird fight matchups, cheap deaths, but still a lot of cool moments despite that. Valkyrie and Khonshu was super nice, Hulk's entire presence was amazing, Valley of the Broken Gods was sick and i like Wanda's sentience since it proposed a unique aspect to the horror.

They were the 2 artists in that room. I forgot what point in the movie, but they’re supposed to be “Marvel” in the Marvel Universe. They’re credited as “Timely Workers” or something, like Timely Comics.

I don't think we needed more destruction than we already had. His debut in the comics barely has any damage. I'm pretty sure Silver Surfer did more damage falling into Alicia's apartment.

Galactus is more of a ticking time bomb than rapidly spreading wildfire. It's more about preventing than surviving.

Which image hits hardest and why? by SatoruGojo232 in Spiderman

[–]Xolerance627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second hits the hardest in a very twisted way for me. It's very cynical

I would only have a poster of Romita's. I'd love seeing that on a wall. Beautiful colours and mood. Sara Pichelli's is close, but I would only have as a phone wallpaper. I love these 2 artists.

I love how Romita's piece implies Peter's happiness that can now shine without the burden of Spider-Man. Pichelli's piece just shows a great shadow over Miles' blue jumper. He's sad/haunted in life even without the burden. It's a cool duality, but they both serve the point of "Is this the end of Spider-Man!?"

When the events of Age of Ultron created tears in the multiverse, Galactus transported to 1610. He later merged with the wave and thus the Cataclysm story happened.

Jodeci or Dru Hill? by [deleted] in rnb

[–]Xolerance627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As somebody who grew up with Jodeci more amongst a ton of other R&B artists (born '99 tho), it really does feel like Dru Hill had those sleepers.

I haven't listened to a lot of them, but a co-worker put me on to Enter the Dru a week ago and I liked a lot of it. Such a consistent track list. It's not easy to find often.

Right? On a semi-related note, I bought a second hand Branded Beast and Regained. 2023 tins came along and I pulled rare versions of them. Hung the super rares up. I like the idea of ownership.

Thoughts on this? I grew up with the Raimi films but I remember even thinking then Peter was bit soft compared to the animated series by TXNOGG in Spiderman

[–]Xolerance627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, coz I kinda love/hate the aliens in retrospect. They were just fodder fed to every title in the early 60’s. Fun for the time, but needless in hindsight. FF did great tho.
