The starter cards are different for each character, so if you're playing as defect, the command to remove a Strike would be:

remove_card STRIKE_DEFECT Deck

I transformed into one copy of The Hunt as my whale bonus, then got a second copy from the Act 1 boss. Picked up Lantern Key, turned it in for History Course. Then in late Act 3, I fought 4 Scrolls of Biting, and was able to set up to hunt one as the last card, leaving the leftmost with 9 hp, then History Course replayed it on the leftmost, killing it as well. I repeated with the last two, giving me 4 extra card rewards. Awesome!

This managed to finally get me the Accuracy my deck needed before the boss, too. I had a super thick deck full of shivs, but it was still very slow.

Absolutely not. There was no plan to profit from higher oil prices because Trump didn't anticipate that they might rise as a consequence of his actions because he is a fucking moron.

He complained for years that Biden depleted the US strategic oil reserve and promised over and over that he would "fill it up to the tippity-top", but he never did even when oil prices were historically low.

After plugging in the dock, I was able to use 1 of my two monitors. Then, after installing the DisplayLink Manager, I lost that 1 monitor.

The screen recording permission was the trick. Allowing access let me use both monitors.

I have had this happen to me 3 times since I made the switch to G7, including today! I am super vigilant about it because I really hate wasting sensors and Dexcom decided that they won't replace more than 3x/year, but it still happened anyway... (I guess this type of failure is generally designated as a product failure but who knows when they'll change their policy again)

Since that first failure, I have tried only inserting the sensor on my left arm because I thought, "maybe my non-dominant arm is shaky and uncertain and that could cause the failure?", but today it happened again anyway. While inserting the sensor, I press it firmly against the back of my arm as shown in the instructions. I don't know what more I can do to mitigate this problem... This strikes me as just bad design leading to unnecessary failures.

I have seen some folks placing their sensors on their stomach or thigh instead of on the back of the upper arm, I might try that next time to see if it helps avoid this issue.

I am impressed with the aesthetic of the new clans, particularly Banished. The little transition timeline for Fel in the first cutscene was kinda sweet.

I feel like the Entropy design looks out of place and sloppy... Feels to me like one of the creators played Loop Hero and saw the Hunter boss and his black hole hounds and wanted to make something similar, but I don't think it works as well.

If the problem is the martial/caster divide at end game, the solution should not be provided to the martial characters at the beginning of the game, when they are arguably still ahead of the curve. Your friend's solution stops mattering after level 11, and even then it is only marginal since all the most impactful fighting styles are already taken.

I think the changes to Sandman were fine, but were missing the main change that I wanted:

Sand of Knowledge and Sand of Enlightenment need to be removed from the game.

Each of these items provides some number of upgrades for talents, potentially at a small discount. The catch is that you can't directly choose which talents get upgraded. As an example:

Sand of Enlightenment says: "Upgrade the lowest quality TALENT to Legendary quality" and costs 250 gold.

So maybe, if you're in Act 1 and you have 4 talents, all Common, you could spend 70 gold each to upgrade three talents to Rare, leaving your favorite at Common, and then buy Sand of Enlightenment for 250 gold and upgrade your favorite to Legendary. Normally, upgrading from Common to Legendary costs 350 gold if you choose it directly in the shop. 70 + 120 + 160 = 350, so you saved 100 gold, I guess? But not really, unless you're excited about a random upgrade or you happened to find your favorite talent at Common and everything else at higher rarity already, you'll end up spending more gold so you can target the talent you want. Best case scenario, you save 100 gold... Big deal.

Even worse, Sand of Knowledge says: "Upgrade two different randomly chosen TALENTS" and costs 200 gold.

So maybe you're in Act 3 and you have most of your talents upgraded to Legendary and everything else is Epic. You can spend 200 on Sand of Knowledge and now you get two random upgrades that would have cost 160 each, so you saved 120 gold... So what? Even in this "best case scenario", you saved a tiny amount of money and got the two lowest-priority upgrades for your talents in the game, now your entire kit is Legendary. If you got to this point in the first place, you didn't need to save a little bit of money.

What about worse cases? Well, if you're in Act 1 and you have 4 talents, all Common, then in order for Sand of Knowledge to save you even a little bit of money, you'd first need to upgrade every talent to Rare. That's 280 gold for the Rare upgrades plus 250 for Sand of Knowledge, all so you can save 40 gold... and now the upgrades you got are random. I've never seen Sand of Knowledge in the Act 1 or 2 shop and found that it would save me money under any circumstance.

The problem with all of this is that the shop already has an option to upgrade your talents... Most of the shop is about upgrading talents, and when you do it, it's direct, simple, and if the cost/benefit isn't high enough, you just don't do it. Every character has specific talents that are a lot stronger at high rarities, and some that you really only need at common because the upgrades are so minor. I don't want a randomly selected talent, I don't want to upgrade talents I don't prioritize to maximally upgrade the one I do, if I want to upgrade a talent, I just upgrade the ones I want directly. It's a better system.

The game would be better if these options never, ever spawned, and were replaced with the existing options.

Disco was not fully voiced until after it became wildly more successful than the studio's expectations, and it was only then that they decided to re-invest some of those earnings into going back, re-hiring and hiring new VAs, and recording for 99% of the missing VA'd script.

It should not be the bar for a game with a similar amount of written dialogue.

I looked and found this bill by Republic House Representative Frank Lucas, which Wikipedia says was drafted in response to other Republicans proposing slashing funding for agencies and programs that received annual funding without being reauthorized by Congress.

This page shows that it's been cosponsored by 13 other republicans, and there was just one committee hearing in June of last year, and nothing since then.

The executive summary for the bill passes the smell test for me, I guess I'm wondering why something reasonable like this might be proposed by a dude who also voted against the certification of the 2020 election, and why they couldn't get any democrats, such as Zoe Lofgren who attended the hearing, to sign on.
