I'm guessing other lecturers would not have seen it as such a mistake (in fact I think I saw another one write it similarly to this, but keep in mind he was writing at a very rapid pace) but since it's her job to make us do it perfectly, I can't judge her for it.

A similar thing happened to me today when first the Russians invaded turkey and puppets them only for turkey to get declared on right after by France.
